I know she has trained in various martial arts before this, which explains her sinewy, hard body( looks stunning), but the judo was rushed and having done judo before, it is a very exerting martial art and you have to learn to fall correctly. I quite liked this series but you can't be an olympic standard judoka in the course of 6 weeks.

i googled melanie c's knee injury and found a heat interview from oct. 23 this is what they had to do in surgery apparently

What exactly did you do to it?

I've ruptured my cruciate ligament and damaged two other ligaments in my knee. The surgery was amazing...it was keyhole. They've taken a part of my hamstring and made a new ligament, plus I've got a bit of metal work in there and a couple of staples and a screw.
