mine just fell apart after about 50 rounds through it, the slide barrrel snapped in two and a bottom screw snapped and fell out, stay away from this gun , there soild steel ones are good (357 and 1911) through , but this is not woth the $180ish price tag ZERO QUALITY CONTROL ON THIS P.O.S .... no BS

My personal opinion, buy something from KJWorks. The reviews are right this gun has a few to many problems.

Its good for CQB, but i wouldn't recommend it for your primary weapon in a fight

If you fill the meg fully how many shots do you get because you said gas didn't last as long as you want it to

The gas should last for about a full clip, or 25 rounds

@99TheHero99 nope, the mag has to have gas inside and it has to be inside the gun in order for the blowback to work, if there is gas and no bb bullets inside, the slide lock will always keep the metal slide back so if you want to dry fire with no bb bullets, just hold the slide lock down and keep shooting, but over all the mag must have gas for the blowback to work

@99TheHero99 Okay, stupid question. NO, the mag holds the gas that fires the WHOLE mechanism, which means the blow back needs the mag.

how long to you hold the propane in the the clip for. i had a one of my clip at 10 sec and i shot 9. is that good?

noooo! stop doing that immediately! Only fill the mag for a MAX of 4 seconds, anymore can damage the mag and break the internal seal that can cause it to leak.

For some people also wondering about the sticky slide business, all you need to do is find some gun silicone and grease that bitch up wherever there are contact with the plastic and metal slide. I also put a little at the bottom of the hammer. The first night I played with it I had plenty of kills so for $180 CDN this thing owns lol.

I own one of these and have been playing with it for two weeks now and so far I have had no major problems. When I fill my mags up with green gas, I am not shy about it. I know some people say that they run out of gas half way through. I stick that bastard in there until it's shitting out gas from the top like Mt St.Helen. It is 280 FPS. so to increase FPS you must buy a better mag valve that lets more gas in per shot. this will bump it up to the 300 fps range.

ive heard about a couple issues with this gun just curious if anyone else has or known about these issues.. Im debating KWA 1911 (CDN ver) or this SS226 (CDN).

issues i've heard with 226:

1) Slide Jams or sticks (internal plastic part that detects empty mag)

2) Slide Wobble)

3) Grips falling off (with or w/o touching the screws...some say they ship stripped)

Kwa issues:

1) Magazine spring jams when you load over approx 11-12bbs

2) Low shot capacity/air in magazine

@Austiin23 if its anything like any other GBB pistol then it wouldnt have any blowback functionality w/o the gas in the magazine, bbs loaded or unloaded only play a role if u have a locking slide when a mag is empty

Hey man does your 226 still work? i bought one a few days ago (skeleton sidearms blah blah blah) , thankfully i got it froma retailer not online, and when i started shooting my FIRST clip the !@#$ing guns internals broke ( it fired fine but it WOULD not chamber a round) meaning it jammed and would start leaving bb's inthe gun i was able to return it, and when they replaced it i tested it out and thatone had the same problem on the FIRST clip also... you have any issues with yours?

Nice, thanks for the review. I was looking into buying a sidearm from BuyAirsoft.ca, and this was the only sidearm that really stood out for me, (besides the Mk. I) but I've heard mixed reviews about it, particularly about the magazine.

In your honest opinion, do you think it's worth the money? I'm not looking for an amazing cop-killer assassin sidearm, just something reliable and cost-efficient. Plus, I love Sig Sauer's designs.
