robert is one of the most versatile with speed he threw it 22 mph here and in the clr windy city classic he threw it at 17mph

robert is a good bowler he has huge power but he has learned to control it.

he can do things that i doubt the average bowler can do im not doubting walter ray's ability walter ray is great and i think hes better than robert but robert is a talented guy.

luck doesnt win you 7 titles and get allow you to win a title after a bad hip injury.

i know robert smith, because he gets his stuff drilled at my home house in columbus ohio. i think he is a great guy, but i believe that if anyone works with something for a while, they can master that style. i knoe many bowlers that have mastered the big hook and the straight line. he is in all the time and can never the straight line. sorry, walter may get weak 10's, but thats better than strike, strike, split, strike split...

robert smith throws it so hard, hes never realy swinging and bringing unless the shot calls for it. guy throw 20+ mph on the shark, hes on deep on long oil patterns to play em close to the head pin. if your not impressed with 500rpm's thrown 23mph and accurate i dont know what would impress you

well something that impresses me isnt an inconsistent bowler that throws the ball well only on oil, and doesnt have a straight game. drop it, your fake statistics are a feeble attempt at changing my opinion.

ok one, hes best on short patterns, get your facts straight. he can throw it super hard, why hes won 3 of his titles on cheetah. and my fake statistics? you think i make all this up? only reason walter ray has 45 titles, hes been able to bowl for so long, and was prime in urethane days. in your words to describe present day walter "a bowler who can only bowl well on light oil, has no hook game and cant carry a ten pin"

Robert Smith does have a straight game. Try watching the 2000 US Open. You just don't get out there on tour, let along win, without mad skills. Luck is only a factor in small doses. I've never seen anyone win by luck on tour. You gotta respect RS's steez, man.

Oh. I know dude. I'm with you on that. This other guy is just disillusioned. I can't believe there are people out there who don't like watching Robert Smith bowl. What makes him so much more impressive, is the fact that he has the highest rev rate out there, and has control over it.

alot of modern day style of high revs is all slow ball speed, robert smith is 500+ rev rate and throws it over 20 mph. which is beyond impressive

And he can control it. That's why there aren't a whole lot of power players out there on tour. Most guys with that kind of rev rate can't keep it under control. And it virtually looks like he's doing nothing with the ball at release. I hate that whenever people see Robert Smith lose, they say that it's because of his power. All p[layers lose frequently. But those guys are out there because they're that damn good.
