  • put your personal demons aside! and focus on the bigger threat and think of the reasoning behind chavez decision to ban the soda, he mentions health risks because of the ingredients, well Aspartame is a pretty damn big health risk! if you have done your research on it you would understand what I am talking about

  • 13: You need to put your personal claims aside and realize (at least in the USA) people are free to make their own "good" and "bad" personal consumption choices. Getting the gov't involved in telling people what is "good" and "bad" will only reduce personal freedom. See the "topical stuff" section of my website, I have several dozen articles demonstrating that the liberal "food police" are in fact trying to tell everyone what they can eat. I have done the research, you haven't.

  • ANYONE WHO BUYS COCA COLA SUPPORTS BILDERBERG, THE THIRD REICH, THE US/ISRAEL LOBBY, THE EMPTYING OF THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES RESERVOIRS AND THE DEATHS OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO WATER. I SAY FUCK CAPITALISM THAT KILLS AROUND 30,000 PEOPLE A WEEK.

FUCK YOUR CORPORATE AGENDA YOU WANKER

  • SUP: I think you might want to see a doctor. You totally missed the point of this video, but that doesn't surprise me. I will also say, if you go on another expletive-laced rant, you will be banned. Conduct yourself as if you're not intoxicated. The decision to consume X (whether it be Coca-Cola, burgers or Tofu) is an individual decision, the gov't should have no say in this. In a free society, there are necessary evils. John Q. Public can eat burgers or smoke weed, it is his decision.

  • @UTubekookdetector your the one missing the point especially when corporations run this world. I say well done to hugo chavez to doing something about this. You actually have a problem with government decisions? Just look at the us they are run by bankers and the corruption levels really show.

"doesnt surprise who"?? you dont even know me so that statement is false. I get the point you dont. Capitalism kills on average 30,000 people a week. Coca cola is evil and you wont say shit about them

  • SUP: Thankfully, for now, the US Const. doesn't allow the gov't to ban something that is just simply "bad" for you. Everyone knows that drinking large quantities of soda, smoking cigs & eating burgers all the time is not good for one's body. You'd have to be an idiot to not know this. I have a problem with gov't decisions that are NOT contained within the Enumerated Powers the Founders specifically inserted to limit the powers of a centralized gov't. That's why we left Britain.

  • @UTubekookdetector thats because they fund and endorse junk products. Its part of the de-population act. Healthy foods are too expensive for the poor. It has also been known for health society's to come forward and tell people that eating macdonalds is healthy (just watch supersize me) Also look at monsanto and what they put into the food chain.

In this current moment they are deleting healthy ingredients (like ginger) from the food chain.

  • SUP: "they fund and endorse junk products." That's kind of a subjective appeal isn't it? Healthy foods (depending on your definition of healthy) will be cheaper and more available with free trade & more competition. It's simple economics dummy. Now, here's what you need to answer. Does the US Const. give the gov't the permission to meddle with what people consume? Does the gov't have permission to make me eat more vegetable and less cake?

  • @UTubekookdetector subjective? nah its the facts. Its pre calculated also. In the us healthy foods are more expensive though. research it! Go watch supersize me and food inc. Giving permission and acting are a big hypocrisy with the us. Obama is really guilty of having two sides as are all politicians im afraid. Your right they dont have permission but they do things like this and they dont keep people informed.

  • Chavez has won every internationally monitored election except only one referendum he barely lost. Chavez, even held his own in the last elections just losing a few seats but still holds about 69 percent of seats for his Party the same as his approval rating. Pro Chavez President Morales of Bolivia was re-elected, Raphael Correa of Ecuador was re-elected, and in Nicaragua the Sandinistas are approaching 50 percent approval rating under President Ortega compared to 6 percent for the conservative.

  • ROB: What in the hades does that have to do with the Fascist practice of telling people what they can and can't consume, what they can and can't put in their own body? Here are some stats for you. The US economy is circling the drain, yet our GDP per capita is still 3 times that of Venezuela. In addition, after about 12 years of Hugo, inflation there is north of 30%. Remember the 70s and early 80s here, when inflation hit double digits?

  • The author of this is a moron. FreeDumb. Meet me and let's go fishing in Cuba.

$1000 says this nitwit has never been to venzuela. I lived there for 13 years

  • ARENA: Who are you referring to? I don't think it addresses anything in the video. GIve me some specifics. What was the average rate of inflation in Venezuela last year? What's their GDP per capita?

  • Actually , Chavez has massively reduced infant morality illiteracy, and disease, and has helped Morales to victory and re-election in Bolivia..Correa of Ecuador was elected and re-elected, and President Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua is approaching 50 percent approval while the conservative candidates for the 2011 election are at around 5 percent. Chavez lost a few seats but held his own, The US backed leaders and parties have little to show in any of these countries

  • bladibla , propaganda i tell you, off course they should be allowed to choose, but come on, A LOT of people are to... ?stupid? to choose, or they dont know any better...

I think its a good step in the right direction.

  • VET: Ok, we'll start with you. You get a "free" gov't meal every day and can live in Soviet-style public housing the rest of your life because you're too dumb to buy your own house and choose for yourself. The gov't will now start taking care of you. You also will ride the finest public transportation 5 days a week. I think that's a step in the right direction.

If people make dumb choices, they pay for it themselves, that's the beauty of a free society. You're an idiot.

  • @UTubekookdetector , right now, 2/3 of the people on the world, have it Good enough, 1/3 not,. about 2 billion, if everybody lifes in a S style house, and standard meals, standard fine PT, then we could focus on the rest... luxery. , we can all still work., we dont need to work 5 d in the week , the govnt is taking care of us right ?, like hell it aint... it says it does, but it can be much better... AND WE MUST make that happen! no joke, we are the new elite.. :)

  • VET: Now you're on a rant that is almost totally unrelated to your original comment. Here in the US, the Constitution does not give the gov't the authority to tell people what they can and cannot consume. The federal gov't shouldn't even be involved in drug criminalization, it's a state issue (10th amend). If you're worried about the poor in other countries, sign FTAs with those countries and exchange goods. That will help the poor more than any collectivist social program.

  • @UTubekookdetector thanks, you enlightened me in a way that ill start thinking more about my beliefs.. okay... well as it is now.. the gov is envolveld in alot of shit that they arent supposed to be involved with, And...Alot of shit they should be doing, and they are not!, well, im not amarican.. im from europe... i dont know the rules there... but same as here. its a damn inefficient, damn expensive country... Here and there... the people only care about them selves.. i think we should change

  • He banned it for just one reason, it's owned by wealthy people he doesn't like... @edgardepo chavist fool...

  • The REAL point is "is the Venezuelan govmt taking care of public health ?", for me the answer is YES !

Now, if the point was about the freedom of choice of how commit suicide, well... there is not such a freedom in Venezuela, fortunately !!!

  • I'm afraid you still don't get it. I realize you may have a low IQ and need the gov't teat from cradle-to-grave, but most people are intelligent enough to choose for themselves.

If you eat burgers, smoke cigs and find yourself in poor health at 50 that's not my problem.

Your reasoning borders on insane, may I suggest jacking up your prescription?

As I stated in the vid, Venezuela's economy is in the toilet. Edgar, you're a moron.

  • Coke is bad drink, you guys keep drinking if you want.

  • Doesn't sound like you watched the video. The point was NOT whether X is "good" for "bad" for the consumer, but whether a free citizen (apparently Venezuelans are not free anymore) is allowed to consume it.

Burgers aren't good either, but eating one a week will not kill you.

  • You keep drinking coke, we'll see who lives longer (or dies earlier).

    God bless you

  • Doesn't sound like you watched the video either. The point was NOT whether X is "good" for "bad" for the consumer, but whether a free citizen (apparently Venezuelans are not free anymore) is allowed to consume it.

Burgers aren't good either, but eating one a week will not kill you. We're all adults, we can choose for ourselves.
