no I'm not :-) the Russians currently have because of lack of money, no future soldier system but a concept (Project Wolf / Soldier 2000) which of course can not really compete with the standard European or American

i dont know the restrictions... but in the german army are circa 250000 soldiers and ca. 50000 soldiers (i dont know whars the word in english i thik "split time soldiers" they are for 4,8 oder 12 jears by the army

Seing all the optical equipment attached to the weapons makes me wonder, how sturdy all those electronics are. As a soldier you might just rough up your equipment from time to time...
