I spoke with the voice of Space Ghost, George Lowe, last year and he told me they got these letters from all over. He said they'd sit around and read them and goof on them. He cracked me up when he talked about purposely mispronouncing the names and locations. Very cool guy.
@chongkina lol, I actually didn't think about that... wasn't intentional, I remember writing it just to be as random and funny as the show was known to be... then again, I was never good at comedy at 10 years old.
Amazing! I remember this! I loved this show so much back in the day. I didn't think these letters were real. It's funny how I can see a clip of this, years later on youtube uploaded by the very same person who submitted it! Thanks for uploading.
that is too cool you got your letter aired on the show and even cooler that you met the man behind Space Ghost! I watched the show all the time when I was a kid. Brak was my fave. Getting a tattoo of him sometime soon. Ahhhh the 90's...weren't they grand? :)
I remember this! how many millions of times must this have repeated back in the 90's? Your letter was on tv all the time!
Do u remember waay back when cartoon planet had bumpers with a guy named "Jefferson" saying stuff like "this is Jefferson live from cartoon planet!" before breaks?
or how the original theme song was "no one knows my plan" by they might be giants-and the closing music was "the end of the tour"also by they might be giants?
@trapadoored I was told numerous times during school by my peers that they saw my letter on TV, I never got a chance to watch it since I kept missing said episode until learning Cartoon Planet was reairing years later I got my second chance and I put my timer on my VCR, catching it for the first time.
I think I remember the announcer, I've vague memories about the show these days without finding episodes online. As for the theme, I only remember Space Ghost singing it then Brak for the credits.

Why did you write "Shut Up" anyway
DrClay999 2 years ago
y'know, I completely forgot why I did...it was over 10 years ago when I wrote and sent it in, plus half of what I wrote was shortened in the show.
for all I know, I probably was trying to be random and funny like the show was mostly known for.
SorcererLance 2 years ago
when did they display the mailing address to mail too, I've seen a few episodes and never saw anything...
DrClay999 2 years ago
at the VERY end of the closing credits to the show after every episode, they always said to send your letters to the following address
SorcererLance 2 years ago 3
That is amazing. It must have been interesting for George Lowe having to read those letters. xP

surfingthechaos 2 years ago
they showed an old episode of the old Space Ghost cartoon series when Brak was first introduced.
He originally had whiskers and meowed a lot, I think that was hint enough for me as a kid, lol
