  • C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!

  • what is an illegal alien? People like the founding fathers?

  • @modelmark Illegal aliens are people who invade our nation by illegally crossing the border. Our founders didnt break into any nation...there was no nation here, or no goverment. Just a bunch of loose indian tribes, and that is no nation. The land was open for the founders to come in and form a goverment. Do you understand now, you liberal?

  • @calimar28 Let me see if I do: You go to a piece of land that no one has called a nation yet (does it need to be in english?). DOes it need to be an island or can it be attached to pieces of land which are called a nation by someone? Then when you stand on that land, you call it a nation first and write it on a piece of paper (can you make it as big as you want?). Then everyone who wants to set foot in the land you call nation, you can shoot. This right inherits to who holds the piece of paper.

  • @modelmark That's right, that's how the world works. You pansy liberals are so "sen-se-tive" to everyone...who cares if loose tribes are all that occupy an entire contenent? Just let them fend for themselve when other nations come to get the land, rather than take it for ourselves, right? Yes we took it from tribes that had no goverment...It's called "advancment".

  • @calimar28 I am not a liberal. Wait until the people from government come and take your land. I'll see if you still call it advancement then.

Nations never take your land btw, only people with guns take it they only claim to represent some nation. It's theft with a flag and an anthem. I guess you pansy conservative are to sen-si-ti-ve to losing your job to a more competent immigrant.

  • @modelmark If those who are stronger take it, then it is theirs. In the mean time illegals have no right to be here, none. We will have no more of it. The time is coming soon. We can stop all border crossings if Mexico wants to play this game. We can shut off trade with Mexico, we can stop that whole thing.

  • @calimar28 You produce hardly anything, you import almost everything with borrowed money from the Chinese. Without imports, you are all dead within a few weeks. You can't even have your fruit picked. Something to take into account before you do something stupid. If Mexicans come over the border to work for someone voluntarily, both parties benefit. Their relation is none of your bussiness. It is like stopping beautiful girls from entering your territory, preventing them from marrying your friend

  • @modelmark They are 3rd world and are pouring in. Our entitlement system cant take it. Our hospitals cant take it. Our schools cannot take it. It is not our job to take care of Mexico.

  • @calimar28 I agree, but this is because your entitlement system is wrong (as is ours). It is based on coercion. If you were not coerced by your own government to buy their bad 'services', they would have gone bank rupt long ago, as they will anyway. If people come to work, let them work. As an illegal immigrant they are not entitled to anything anyway I presume. If you are worried about finances, why not dump: fighting overseas wars, propping up dictators, TSA perverts, Obamascare, subsidies

  • @modelmark because they belong in Mexico is why, and also they will use the hospitals and schools and everything else. They also drive down wages for Americans. I'm not talking picking beans, I'm talking contruction jobs, roofing jobs, etc...good jobs. So, I am for arresting employers who hire them, they will self deport. I am for reducing H1B visas, which just undermine our own workers.

  • @calimar28 Who is to say where people belong? Why is his opinion worth more than any other opinion?Pointing a gun at employers who hire them is just as immoral as pointing a gun at people who marry a partner from the other side of the border. The border is just an imaginary line. You can not protect your whealth with borders, you will just get more cops harrasing you. If this was possible, just build 4 giant walls around your house, let no one in or out and be fabulously rich.

  • @modelmark Its an imagenary line to you liberals, who have NO BACKBONE and would let yourselves be run over by the Mexican hordes.

  • @calimar28 I'm not a liberal, Obama is a douchebag, a thieve and a murderer. If anyone is running over you, it is not the Mexicans who pick your fruit, mow your lawns and babysit your children, but Obama with his gang of thugs who bails out banks, dictators and takes your money by force to give it to his friends.

  • Cheny is an evil invader. I served in the military to fight against evil invaders, not to be one

  • This should be aired by the comitee to elect Rand Paul.

  • perfection.

  • way too extremist! that they have lost any understanding. they often confuse own talking points.

  • Rand paul is too extremist!

  • @padude64 How?

  • dick cheney's name fits him. bush and cheney are fascist republicans. rand paul is moral.

  • Dick Cheney is poison.

  • Cheney = PURE AND COMPLETE EVIL. Paul = PURE GOODNESS AND LIGHT

  • And Cheney also told David Rockefeller that he'd keep his little thousand points of light plan for a one world government a secret. Cheney also told David Rockefeller that when he was campaigning for Congress back in Wyoming he wasn't saying a word about his being involved with David Rockfeller and the Council on foreign Relations. Cheney is a lying piece of filth who belongs in prison for treason. Tell me again why I'd give two shits what that turd has to say ?

  • The Republican party only has a problem with big government when they're not the ones who are expanding it.

People should stop throwing around the words, "liberal" and "conservative". They mean so many different things to too many people. A classical liberal is now known as a libertarian. And considering most have not taken political science courses, there are no anchors to which these words must refer. Barriers are many times created before conversations ensues.

  • ha 374 likes to 8 dislikes. Great vid thanks for posting

  • Great video. I especially like the part where you say the neocons want to keep repeating the mistakes and that they don't beleive they have done anything wrong...good job

  • I may not totally agree with Paul on the extent to which government should be able to regulate private business, i.e. racism issues, but this is inconsequential. He is going to focus on bigger issues like our disastrous foreign policy, the Fed, and hopefully more issues dealing with big business's control over our government.

  • rand paul as a senator is a big win for the revolution. it seems like everyone in the media is in a panic about it right now. seems like the tide is turning. i do wish he was more like his dad though.

  • Do those who denounce Paul's views on segregation support the segregationist State of Israel? After all, that's the most racist State in the world and people bend over backwards to kiss their ass.

  • YEAH!!! GO PAUL!!! It fills my heart with joy when i see Americans waking up all over the country.. their are still some sleeping but at this rate reality is about to splash a cold bucket of truth in the faces of those who still slumber. and by the way i hear this guy talk and so far i don't hear one thing about Rand i disagree with.. i think the fact that dick cheny disapproving of rand alone is enough to boost up rands supporters by another 100 thousand or more

  • Here is an example. This applies particularly to working in the South. Let's say you are working for a guy who doesn't like your catholicism because he is a baptist so he fires your ass. If you think it doesn't happen think again. Or maybe you are over 50 and you are tossed under the bus after working for him for 35 years. BE AFRAID OF PEOPLE LIKE RAND PAUL, BE VERY AFRAID.

  • @IngloriusBastard11 your a moron.

  • @IngloriusBastard11 Rand Paul has ZERO intention to change the civil rights act, so I think you're a pro spending communist that doesn't give a fuck about his views on civil rights, but you'll be glad to try and use it to your advantage anyway.

  • What does this guy segregate next. Do business owners begin to discriminate against you because you are fat, skinny, black, white, asian, hispanic, blonde, brunette, green eyes, blue eyes, disabled, disfigured, former military, not former military, tall, short, catholic, jew, protestant, muslim, hindu, buddhist, democrat, republican, liberal, conservative, moderate, etc.?

  • Leave it up to Southerners to vote a guy like Rand Paul into office. By the way, how is that Evangelical Christian Mark Souder working out for you guys?

  • I agree with hemisterderp and hope Rand Paul makes it to the senate. The present dems and a lot of repbs. are for spend baby spend. The present adminstration is on on a path to that is destructive.

  • Rand Paul thinks segregation should be legal for private businesses.

That's it, that's all. That's the whole controversy in a nutshell.

I disagree with him, do you?

  • If you run a private business, you can't do things that are AGAINST THE LAW. That's why you can't kill people, then claim it's OK because you're a private business.

That's also why you can't have a private business where you DISCRIMINATE BASED ON RACE.

What the so-called Libertarians really mean is that they don't think segregation should be illegal. Because they are secretly racists.

    It's just that simple.

  • @TheLiberalAvenger Definitely a shill account, nothing more to see here.

  • I'm against segregation, but I don't think it should be illegal.

I'm either really stupid, or am secretly a racist.

    Which is worse?

  • @TheLiberalAvenger

"Accidents happen" is what he said on BP oil spill. This is the kid of eye doctor you would feel comfortable to go to for eye check ups. "Accidents happen" during eye surgery...but you still have your other eye.

  • @WorldTravelDude Accidents happen" during eye surgery...but you still have your other eye. ] Unless you have some information that he really destroyed an eye or eyes I would shut up about that because it is a blatant lie.

  • @MayonR

Dude it a metaphor not an actual incident...

Even in a real world it would be pretty stupid to go to a doc who says so casually, "Accidents happen"....I would have no confidence on such people.

  • well constructed post and well put. thanks for caring enough to express your thoughts succinctly. God bless

  • Rand Paul? LOL

I can't decide which is the bigger gift that keeps on giving for the Democratic Party; Rand Paul or Sarah Pallin.

After the Rachael Maddow interview, I would have to go with Paul. That is really saying something.

Although I admit it is a very close call. Admitting you are for segregating private businesses like Paul did, versus quitting as governor, as well as the rest of Pallin's idiocy, almost makes it a draw.

Either way, I hope they keep it up!

  • @Seldona It's their property. If you don't want A, B, or C, on your property, whether by race or whatever, do you really want some omnipotent authority to tell you otherwise?

Honestly, it's uneconomical to segregate businesses. During the Civil Rights movement, Martin Luther King was easily able to talk to restaurants, etc. at sit-ins and they were quick to agree to allow any race. After all, more race, more money.

However, who are YOU to tell anyone what to do on THEIR property?

  • @Seldona I know it wasn't the point of your comment, however, something tells me I had to bud in and critique a stance for FORCEFULLY telling businesses how to run their business.

  • @Seldona, best comment in a long time. You are so right. It is really difficult: do you go for someone who advocated the right of business owner to REFUSE entry to a black person simply because of his color, or do you go for the extraordinarily dumb Miss South Carolina aka Sarah Palin.

  • @HAZIDEAD why does the government have to forcibly tell businesses their own private practices? You don't need federal government for that. If anything, that should be left up to the states as the 10 amendment provides. You don't need government force for private businesses because if they deny a certain race (in this day in age) they will be publicly crucified and probably go bankrupt, or the community will revoke their business licence under public pressure.

  • Conservatives/Liberals-Republicans/Democrats-asses/elephants. Fuck both of them. If you continue to choose between apples and oranges your still picking a fruit. Wake up and look around. None of these parties are any different then the others they just want it to look that way so they can keep it between themselves.

You all sound smart with your prefabricated government political updates but you are still supporting the same "good ole' boy's"!! Stop recycling the same old arguments. Your dense!

  • Who gives a crap about what Cheney thinks....Cheney is a aristocratic pig who worships 40 foot tall stone owles and likes little boys..F him.

  • I hope Rand is prepared to challenge the results of the election. Ron should have challenged New Hampshire and McCain wasn't running the election.

  • Great understanding of this situation! Personally I am still amazed that Cheney would stoop to such a level as ex-Democrat Grayson just to silence a new voice in the GOP. I guess it just shows how true and powerful Paul's message is!

  • @ 1.08 sec "my precious" said golem

  • 0:31 if i was Rand Paul for 1 day it would be this day and that wife......wow.....talk about a great night.....she is eager at this point.......not a complement, not a dig....just out of pure jealousy.

  • I'm going to punch Alex Jones in the face if you guys elect Rand Paul in Kentucky!

Why hasn't Grayson brought up the drug and prostitution legalization smears against Rand? I'll have to email him.

  • @RuflessRecords

dont be a neocon you big silly why arent you worried about the most important issues? a smear campaign because you know that grayson is a flip flopper and no where near what America sees as a true conservative

  • @mattbaldea I'm hoping a combination of fear and smear can keep another Paul from entering Congress

  • @RuflessRecords FUCK YOU

  • @writertrump I'm slightly in favor of Randy winning now that he got the Repub nomination, but I'm generally indifferent, because he's such a worthless far left liberal on so many issues. He better hope his popularity is high enough to win, because few campaign issues will work against Democrats, considering his positions. He won't be more rightwing than his Demo opponent on national security or social issues so he better hope cutting govt alone works.

  • @RuflessRecords far left means more government, not less. Rand Paul advocates less government. He isn't comparable to a Democrat either. Since Obama's victory, Democrats decided to become pro-war, pro-gitmo, and pro-Bush foreign policy. Not only that but they want government run health care, higher taxes, and bailouts. Rand Paul is against all of this.

  • @Truth4Liberty on all foreign policy and national security matters he's a worthless far left liberal. I do like his views on cutting govt however.

  • @RuflessRecords Okay, I understood you dislike his foreign policy in the last comment you posted.. But the label you give him isn't correct. "Far left" means total government. An example of a far leftist would be Hitler or Kim Jong-il. Is he a liberal? Yes but a classical one... But far left? No, he doesn't come close to any leftist ideology (Marxist, Nazi, Socialist, ect).

  • @Truth4Liberty I don't agree

  • 5:15 on is the highlight of this video.

  • This is a very accurate summary of the Senate race in Ky. The GOP has endorsed a Democrat turned Republican who is currently Secretary of State. The GOP fears Dr. Paul as much as the media feared his dad in the 2008 Presidential primary. Rand is going to win the May primary and the GOP is gonna have egg on it's face again. When Rand is elected in November the PEOPLE will have a voice in Washington. Rand Paul 2010 / Ron Paul 2012

  • This is a great video!

  • Rand Paul rocks!

  • Cheney- also diligently worked to EXPAND executive power and deliberately erode the checks and balances between legislative and exec branches. Sad. Truly sad. Cheney even daring to come public to endorse anyone should be scorned in the same way we do GWB IF he were to dare and show his face in public.

  • SOS Grayson will not step down from his leadership role of vote counting in his own election. Conflict of interest by definition. He should do this out of concern for the perception of his campaign alone. Not much integrity there, I say.

Go Rand go!! Let's beat the opposition's socks off!

  • Well he has my vote.

  • This channel sucks, southern avenger? It is more like the naziavenger.

  • @Hagee2012 I think everyone is over the jew card

  • Latest Rasmussen polls on the Kentucky Senate race show Trey Grayson does better in potential matchups against Democratic challengers than Rand Paul:

    Grayson 53% Mongiardo 33%

    Grayson 52% Conway 32%

    Paul 52% Mongiardo 37%

    Paul 50% Conway 36%

    4/6/10

Oh and on the complaints about Grayson being a former Democrat...so was Ronald Reagan

Paul's a weak liberal on national security

  • @RuflessRecords By weak liberal you mean he isn't a neo con war monger. You're an idiot who has been so brainwashed by the mainstream conservative media that you don't know which way is up.

  • @prooc "the mainstream conservative media" you're a retard, it's been 80% lib for almost a century. No, apparently like his dad, he's not even for the Afghanistan war, where we're fighting the people who allowed alqaeda to use the country as a base and ensuring the country does not return to that state again. He's a weak liberal who doesn't even want to fight back when attacked.

  • @RuflessRecords Wow, Paul still leads the other 2 establishment Dems by landslide margins, he also leads Trey Grayson by substantial margins in the primary, can't wait until Grayson looses the primary next month...

  • @bittergunowner12 if that happens, I challenge you to a scattergun duel

  • @RuflessRecords I accept

  • Wow, this is great, I love the calm cool narration, with clear concise points backed with plenty of accurate quotes.

    Liked and Shared

  • Trey Greyson is my horse in this race. He is a true conservative who understands that we must help Israel who is our greatest ally in this War on Terror. Why is this video attacking Trey? He seems like a standup conservative to me. Rand Paul isn't as much of a loon as his old man but his beliefs are still pretty strange and potentially dangerous.

  • @Hagee2012 Go read Ron Paul's book, The Revolution: A Manifesto. I'm willing to bet 20$ that you're going to support him after reading this.

  • @phchartrand I read it and it made me vomit.

  • @Hagee2012 His logic is supported by facts and history, can you say the same?

  • @phchartrand I know I did, I used to be a staunch neo con until I really started listening to Ron Paul

  • @Hagee2012 "Rand Paul isn't as much of a loon as his old man but his beliefs are still pretty strange" rofl, nice!

  • @RuflessRecords haha yeah nice...not

  • Receiving an endorsement from Dictator Cheney and the neo-cons may have been a boon in 2002 and 2004, but it's a kiss of death in 2010. I'm glad that the citizens of the Bluegrass State are supporting true conservatism instead of relenting to the fear-mongering and fascism that permeated the Bush years.

  • Good video SA i'm glad to see the younger Paul well ahead of Grayson and also comfortably ahead of the two main Democrats.

  • Cheney was incredibly unpopular, Rand Paul should advertise the fact that Cheney claimed he wasn't "one of theirs". There is nothing Rand Paul could say to boost his numbers that would top Cheney's remark.

  • dick cheney looks like such a thug

  • Finally, a real CONSERVATIVE comes along, and the Neocons go ballistic...

  • Go Rand Paul!!

  • I donated a meager sum to Rand's campaign - and I don't even live in Kentucky!

  • now I see why people become politicians. To prey on people with full treachery...

  • You killed it southernavenger. Get out of the left right paradigm people..."when we say revolution, we say it with love"

  • Rand Paul supports US imperialism and interventionism which makes him a real threat to national security and my individual liberties.

  • @803honda What have you been smoking? Rand Paul does not support such things.

  • I wish that were true.

  • Rand is a true Republican, promoting fear and promising a new war, this time with Iran, to get a seat! It is easy to regret something that went wrong. But it needs courage to prevent a similar mistake. Shame on you, Rand.

  • He is in it to win it TwoRials and this is a Senate seat. He is not pro-war and the words he chooses are extremely nuanced. He could open his flank by not directly countering the neocons and get crushed by that very motivated and well funded group of d-bags. Or he could play his cards close to his vest, play the game, and get elected to spend six years destroying these monkeys and thier war machine. The world is a vampire actions will speak louder than words.

  • Finally, some genuine conservatism instead of the usual self-serving neo-con B/S. Congrats.

However, I urge those of the Libertarian ilk to stop looking to the 'founders' and rigid views regarding the Constitution. I think we can easily agree that the founders didn't spend a lot of their time looking back. They were forward looking & willing to create a new paradigm instead of relying on history.

So, drop the dogmatic obsession with the past & accept the reality of change. The founders did.

  • Liberty is very new in this world, has only really been an idea in motion for a couple centuries. Where we are going now is backwards into tyranny... harldly progressive if you ask me.

  • I'm a progressive, so I only agree with about half of Ron Paul's positions. But in spite of the ideological differences, I can't help but admire the man. He's one of the few Congressmen ever to not trade principles for power. If his son is the same, I think he'd do a lot of good in the Senate.

  • "I'm a progressive, so I ...." Your an idiot if you buy into the names and classifications that are given for political views these days. I am an individual. I have my own set of views and beliefs. I don't adopt a name (liberal, progressive..ect) and then follow like a blind fool.

  • So you're not a blind fool, just an asshole with a chip on his shoulder. Congratulations. :)

  • Dick "Head" Cheney should go take a walk in a mine field in Iraq... TRAITOR!!!

  • Even if Rand made it to the Senate what good would it do? You'd need a hundred Pauls to make a dent in the neo-armor. Look at Congressman Findley for instance. He fought them for years when he could and what good did it do?

  • A senator is FAR more powerful than a mere congressman. A congressman can only write a bill and vote on it. A senator can forward motions to the floor to stop a bill from even being voted upon! One senator can throw a wrench in the machine and bring everything to a halt, ie Senator Bunning.

  • Look at Senator Robert Byrd, he's an ex-klan member and he's what, 3rd in line to be president after Pelosi now? If there was anyone there to question the influences that the Israeli lobby has over foreign relations, it would be him. Let's just hope Paul brings something new to the table.

  • might I suggest secession?

thats change you can believe in!

  • Dick Cheney is not a conservative.

It's ridiculous that Cheney keeps opening his mouth. I can't wait for him to finally shut up and go away.

  • Thank you, I am someone lost in the middle of the political spectrum, I didnt hate president Bush, but truly despised Dick Cheney. Its a bit refreshing to see Rand Paul bucking the Cheney wing of conservatism and introducing a more RATIONAL brand of conservatism.

  • I guess me and George W bush and cheney agreed on amnesty for illegal immigrants...I don't find that a bad thing that he was for amnesty...like you say...

  • Wow, quite easy to point out the oxymoron that is the "conservative" Dick Cheney.

  • very well done video! Rand Paul is going to win! We need to throw our voice and support behind Peter Schiff for Senate in Connecticut. He is an economic adviser for Ron and Rand Paul. And is amazing at articulating the message.

Help Support Peter Schiff in Connecticut!

  • Rand Paul will be the gold standard of the US Senate. Kentucky is so lucky!

Why doesn't this video have 200,000 views?

  • @heymisterderp one thing is is that the leftwing liberal commy media outlets are doing is picking up on anything "RACIST" he talks about and then take it out of context and sell it to their commy veiwers! anything with "nbc" in it are closet racist! i'm sure your well aware of this though....not all americans got dumbed downed!

  • @southernavenger

Thanks for helping us make an informed decision...

I honestly understand the importance of all of this, the greatness of it... I wish I had more time to study it all... anyways, you help balance the load out.

  • Greyson will do waht he's told and Paul will do what the people want

  • It was surprising to be reminded of the previous President's support of amnesty. I would point out that the budget was actually balanced a few times under Clinton; as for the circumstances that led to this, I know too little to have an intelligent opinion.

I do know that I like Rand Paul.

  • Republican senator of Kentucky Jim Bunning is retiring. Rand Paul is campaigning to replace him in the upcoming election. The other Kentucky senator- republican Mitch McConnell; refuses to endorse Rand Paul. The RNC will not endorse Rand Paul. They are however endorsing Trey Grayson...a previous Democrat moderate. WHY? The RNC is NOT a genuine conservative platform anylonger. The RNC is disingenous as is Mitch McConnell and the rest of the Neo-Conservatives. Let's not get conned again!

  • You are so right, the RNC is just as bad as the DNC when it comes to blowing trillions of dollars and stealing more and more of our civil rights. The leadership of both parties hate the Constitution.

  • THANK YOU Dr. RON PAUL for having the greatest gift that God graced you and us with your son Dr. RAND PAUL.

  • Dick Cheney is a former CFR director. If you don't know what the CFR is all about they are a globalist group of Anti-American pro-New World Order insiders who have run our government for the last 8 administrations. They want world government and use both parties to attain their goals. When you go higher in the parties they are the same group of assholes who hate the Constitution. Watch George Carlin's video: "The American Dream". He is referring to these pricks when he talks about the BIG CLUB

  • The lame stream media who attacked Cheney for eight years turned around and starts pushing him as a great statesman. Sorta says it all.

Rand is going on Glen Beck, he should be prepared for an ambush.

  • I might disagree with Rand Paul on some crucial issues here and there, and I say this as someone who has basically the same politics of US Bernie Sanders of Vermont. But Rand is a man of priniciple. He deserves respect...

  • Yes, people like Paul, Sanders or Alan Grayson are good politicians, no matter how different their ideas are. Intellectual honesty and solid principles. Guys like Romney are the opposite

  • It's clear to me that Trey Grayson is goodthinkful!

  • I got 2 words for Dick... fuck you!

  • Rest assured if Cheney thinks its a bad idea, it's a GREAT idea. Just do the opposite of what Cheney and the neocons want and you'll be well on your way to freedom and prosperity.

  • Rand is definitely getting my vote.

  • War-obsessed crypto-liberals have conned the whole country into believing that they are conservatives. A perfect con game if there ever was one. No wonder they call themselves neo-cons.

  • FIX the GOP by throwing OUT those Statist Progressive NeoCons!

STOP Empire Building & Foreign Intervention with 700+ US military bases OCCUPYING almost EVERY nation PRODUCING hatred & jihad resistance!

Trade, NOT bribes/bombs Manipulation OR Isolationism!

STOP Fascist Crony Corporatism, Illegal Immigration & Marxist Redistributionist THEFT.

Return to Constitutionally limited Gov't, Individual Liberty & Responsibility, Sound Money, FREE competition between FREE States & FREE people.

  • @yakyakyak69 we can wish... we can only hope

  • I'll take the Paul family's definition of conservatism over Cheney's conservatism any day.

  • Dick Cheney endorses Trey Grayson?

I think Rand Paul just got a HUGE boost, Cheney is among the most despised politicians in America (to both Republicans and Democrats)

Dr. Paul continues to lead in poll after poll in the Kentucky race for U.S. Senate and I image this will only increase his lead.

  • If Cheney doesn't like you you gotta be doing something right.

Paul should just change his campaign slogan to "Dick Cheney Doesn't Like Me". He'd get 80% of the vote from all the Democrat cross over vote & all the independents. Talk about unifying the state of Kentucky.

  • .

    @LibertasRAC

    hahaha, that's great!

    "Dick Cheney Doesn't Like Me"

    Bravo man!

    .

  • @barccy Dear Barcy,

You are right, employers should be allowed to bring in 20 million illegals and pocket the profits and pass all social costs onto the community, I will be so glad when we can move the clock back and get 9 year olds working in the mills again as their ability to get their little hands and fingers into the machinery was so m uch more profitable for us.

Immigration is a tax on the working poor and fraudulent worker visa programs are wiping out the midle class. corporate tool.

  • We were speaking out against Bush! Watch the videos of Paul supporters from 07/08 and you will hear the criticism of GW and the neocons in general. We were still building momentum. The bank bailouts didn't take place until very late in Bush's final term. We would have Tea Partied him as well, but we hadn't had a chance become established well enough at that point. We were busy supporting other candidates (Baldwin in my case) and nailing McCain and Romney.

  • The only support Bush got from Paul supporters was his initial campaign promise of "no more nation building"

A campaign promise that was flushed down the toilet after 9/11/01.

  • neoCONS = former Democrats who are now war-hawk Zionists.

  • I fear that Rand is a little closer to the neo-cons concerning Afghanistan/ Gitmo/ "terrorism" than his father's views. I am thinking he is trying to tow as many "R"s into his camp before the election by showing he is one of them and not a libertarian because that would bring him back down to single digits if he went that way. I wish him luck walking that tightrope but I wish he was more clear on his foreign policy.

  • War on terrorism is like treating cancer. If you know it's there, why wait until it starts to kill you? Makes no sense.

  • that depends on who is defining terrorism. anti-abortionists and anti establishment gov. and 3rd party supporters are considered terrorists.

  • @lezlitaz I mean terrorism as what the word means, like intentionally killing civilians for Allah, not an emotionally charged attack against groups.

  • So - how come you don't hear about DICK Cheney hunting as much now that his term is over?? :)

  • Good one. It's to be expected that the Neocon Right will be against anyone from the Paul family. Especially those running for office.

On Rand himself, hey, if everyone in congress were like him we'd be in good shape. Ideally though, I'm much more of a "fan" of his father. Rand is much more on the Minarchist side than I'd like him to be. But nobody's perfect.

  • Liberalism needs to be removed from this federal government. First in the republican party and then everywhere else.

  • Does Cheney think he can influence public opinion positively or does he know he can only influence it negatively?
