Well, I only needed it for the lyriccs in a few places, so there wasn't much page-turning involvved. THAT always makes it close.
Basically, I had to crack the spine. I think. Just open and invert as far as possible. Place on music stand (sturdy) and press hard on dent between pages. Repeatedly.
