  • i know how rare the stock engine is. but trust me on this one. the z will only come alive with a bigger v6 or v8... it is a car which demands more power. and it will suck you dry to get it...

  • what a fucken dumm ass.

  • why are you wearing high heels?

  • nice is that a 6block engine

    n rare car you have

  • that engine is tooooooo rare

  • Thumbs up if you come here after watching Wangan Midnight

  • @KeramatZMode all it needs are 600 Horses, Paint it dark blue and TA-DA, Total Reference.

  • wat about the LHD z are4 their a lot of those cause i found one that's in ok condition but i don't know where to get replacement parts for it. so im kinda scared on whether or not to get it cause i want to drop an rb26 in sometime after buying it.

  • My Datsun mechanic (Japan trained-tech inspects at Historic races) is putting the finishing touches on a rotisserie ground up restoration to stock on a '69, #34, which will debut at the 2011 Japanese Classic Car Show. He says it's worth $200,000. Two in the US. He's got the other one. I"ve seen them both now. Prices are high because of the Japanese collector market; not many get to the US or anywhere else. It's debut will be a BIG event. japaneseclassiccarshowdotcom

  • paint it midnight blue !

  • That's how I like them, so exclusive even if you have the money you can't just buy one whenever you want

  • Six throttles can easily suck all dust and sand particles into the machine when there is no filters...

  • It's odd that the 1970 Japanese Fairlady Z 432 didn't get the famed "240Z Wings" on their rear pillars, like our U.S. cars did. These 2.0L engines had DOHC, hemispherical combustion chambers and triple dual-throat Mikuni carbs. Yet at 162bhp, they were only 11 more bhp than a stock U.S. 2.4L Z engine. My 1970 240Z is bored to 2.5L and the E31 head shaved to 10:1 compression with headers and Twice Pipes, probably giving more power on SUs than this one at half the cost.

    Still want this, tho!

  • @FLSHBK1

Perhaps one should copare the 162 bhp with the correct 129 bhp of a standard L24.......and I think that any our our 240Zs are worth less than half that of a genuine 432. :-)

I'm quite convinced that the winged badges, like that of the bonnet badge were after-thoughts and quite late in execution - they're not the prettiest of additions on an otherwise pure design.

Anyone realise that the Z432 and Skyline S20 engines are different in concept ?

  • has anyone found a video with the sound of the 2.0l zcar engine

  • really? An S20? was it stock in this or was it swapped? I know they were in the 1970 Skyline GTR, but a 240Z?

  • @LynxOGrady yea a special Fairlady Z came with a S20 engine borrowed from the Skyline these were called Fairlady z 432. 4 valves per cyclinder, 3 carburetors, 2 cams. thus Fairlady Z 432.

  • totally beast def best z car out there other then the z432r of course. got to love the s20 though. i also like the OS GIKEN head for the L24 block that is for me one of the craziest upgrades for the 240.

  • looks like nissan was copying toyotas 2000 gt

  • dude is that a real 432R or a recreation

  • Beautiful. Is that the stock body color?

  • this is my favorite car ever. it looks good and it sounds good .

  • @runamoktoo LOL!!!!

  • ya they are, the S20 only came in the Fairlady 432's a Z aquantance in CA has 3 432 cars and a few spare motors :0

  • Had a 1970 Fairlady Z with the standard 2,000cc engine many years ago. Lot's of fun with the right hand drive.

  • one rare bitch. i like =D

  • Get a G-Nose for that sexy beast

  • @skinnyg190 A G-Nose on a Z Z432?! Are you insane?!

  • @PijnigeR

Do they not fit on the Z432 model or something?

I dont know anything about first gen Z's besides the fact that theyre the best looking sports cars ever made... and that they were almost named "2000gt," but Toyota couldnt handle the awesomness that is Nissan. All I know is a 1st gen Z looks really good with acrylic headlight covers and the lip that sticks out a little. I just like the gnose is all.

  • @skinnyg190

And the wider fenders, the best part.

  • @skinnyg190 No, it's just that the Z432 is a legend. A collectors item. There not many of them. They are better left stock. You don't change the nose on a Ferrari F40 or a Jaguar E-Type you know. The Z432 is legen- wait for it - DARY!

  • ITB rocks

  • triple solex carbs not ITBs.

  • Ya at a second look I see that now.

Thanks. Either way I love that look of a port per cylinder. doesn't matter to me if its carb or fi

  • Completely agree with you, and the sound ITB's / carbs like this make is just amazing sounding.

  • LOL.... kids nowadays.... just looks at the trumpets then its automatic ITB...LOL

  • LOL your quite observant :P

  • 2 words

    SEX-Y!!!

  • thats only one word, you misspelled it to try and make it two words but it didnt work. lol

  • Its SEX-E!

Someone doesn't know how to spell

    ;-p

  • 4バルブ

    3連キャブ

    2カム だったかな?

  • Weber 45 or Solex 45??

  • Is it even possible to get this motor in the U.S.?

  • haha I agree with him to a point, but that was still a fucking epic comment lol.

  • I love this car, i just got an erection right now.

  • This engin need OH

  • This CAR needs me as owner! Hahahaha its all good

  • turn it into the devil z paint it midnight blue

  • dork.

  • Ummm no. Its perfect the way it is. No need for another copy cat car of some Fantasy magazine. Of course if your into that kind of thing there's nothing wrong with that :)

  • reminds me of a muscle inspired import

  • Nice sound ;)

  • you should put an L-twin turbo in that monster lol

  • Wangan Midnight

  • Beautiful

I love the 240ZG and Z432's they are so much more beautiful than the already great 240z

Wow, how much would a Z432 or 240ZG cost?

  • Z432 is pretty rare and considered as regendary Z which stand out from other Z cars. I would say it costs more than brand new 370Z. with showroom conditions, it goes up to 70K or even more.

  • Ya I found the price of one at a Japanese yard, it was the equivalent of 85k Australian once it was imported :S

So much nicer than every other classic out there, based upon looks and passion alone if I was offered a Z432 and a Ferrari 250GTO I'd take the Z

Rational thiking would tell me to take the Ferrari, sell it and buy 10 Z's a kgc10 and a nice R32 :)

  • mlf1992, you may already checked out Wangan Midnight anime where S30 Z is the main character. Altough it is an anime, but it is nice, recommend you to search YT for Wangan Midnight, I saw some English trasnlated episode.

  • I think the word you are looking for is legendary, not regendary.

  • the OS Giken head on that engine costs about $10000 US alone

  • That's not the OS Giken head.

  • i miss my 280z ,6'2" 205,fit perfect plenty of room and you feel secure in seat.lots of side support.

  • Heeey, is that with the DOHC head?

  • yes, made by OS Giken

  • That's not a OS Giken head. Nissan made several hundred Z432s (PS30) with a Prince-designed 6 cylinder, DOHC, 4 valve per cyl. engine, redesignated S20 from the original GR8. It was also used in the C10 Skyline GTRs.

  • Ah, my bad. Still, a rare and hard to get motor.

  • z=car 4=valves per cylinder 3=carbs 2=cams

  • Can anyone reply to me on this question?

Could this car fit me comfortably?

Me being an Asian guy, 5'11", 205 lbs.

I could barely fit in my boy's '86 Corolla, I head rubbed against the headliner.

  • easily. you sit pretty low in these cars

  • I would say very easily. there are Z owners that are over 6 feet tall. One of which said the Z fit him better than a new mustang.

  • Old Z's are some of the most comfortable sports cars to ride in. For one thing you've got the room, like's been said. Another thing, you've got a great rest for your right leg/foot on the tranny tunnel. I have as much room to stretch in my 280Z as I do in my '94 Camry if that helps. Cars like Honda Civics and Toyota Corollas seem cramped in comparison.

  • yeeah

  • Yeah, you will fit. The seats can be lowered too. I'm 6 foot and could wear a hat in mine.

  • not sawpin in a L28 twin turbo?lolz

  • there isnt a turbo on this car.

  • Fairlady Z(S30) was based on Bluebird 510. The early Z had L20 in Japan. L20 was OHC engine made by Nissan. Only Z432(4valves, 3carburetors and 2camshafts) had S20 and that was detuned engine(original was used for racing machine R380 made by Prince which was merged by Nissan. We could easily made S20 over 200ps!

  • Basically it's a special Z with Hakusaka GT-R Engine in it. Timeless piece! I wonder if it's for sale? If so, probably goes about $35~$40K USD ?

  • akuma zetto!

  • I saw one here in the philippines, color yellow. I don't know what year it was realeased. but sure it was in s30 line.

  • How many of these are left in the world??

  • I thought that the Z432 is 419 units and Z432R is 30 units.

  • @jsgarageexport and how much would it cost?

  • that's a KPGC10 engine, if I'm correct.

  • yes, 432Z uses the same engine as Skyline GT-R.

  • Yes, the fabled S20 inline-6.

  • i love that im not the only one who knows this

  • Not an S20... Its a L20A.

  • The Z432 had a S20.

  • NO TURBO:(?

  • 432Z has a non-turbo engine

  • as all Zs until '81

  • no, no all Z's have a S20, its actually quite rare. The 432's are the only Z's to have the S20 and the early Skyline GTR's. The rest are L20,L24,L28 depending on market eg USA, JDM.

  • Sorry, let me re-phrase that- no, NOT all Z's have a S20, its actually quite rare. The 432's are the only Z's to have the S20 and the early Skyline GTR's. The rest are L20,L24,L28,L26 depending on market eg USA, JDM.

  • you mis-understood what he said. He didn't mean all Z's had the S20, he meant that all Z didn't have a turbo until 1981 (when the 280ZX Turbo came out

  • why would you ruin such an awesome engine with a turbo

  • @Chunky514 Non turbo has a big Power Response advantage than a SOHC turbo... DOHC non turbo would have no lag yet still have power .

  • It must be a bit** to carburate the carburators.
