  • That's Tight Bro !! I wanna be able to do this one day ! could you post a tutorial ?? thanks :D

  • yo man, I came across this video and realized I posted a really hurtful comment like a year ago and completely forgot about it, my bad, but I do agree with you on the criticism. People post the most ignorant comments on drum line videos than any other videos on youtube. Keep playing man, fuck the haters.

  • I like how u incorperated the hi moms into the triplet backsticking

  • howdy! NICE TRICKS, awesome technique! but one question: which sticks are the white ones? vic firth?

  • Wow whoever disliked this video..<<THERE A DUMB ASS!!

  • STOP THAT............ your making me jealous

  • ドラムラインみたい((((;゚Д゚)))))))

  • REPPIN YO CITY

  • you are really good dude you must play in a drumline likeing and favoriting

  • nice cool

  • как называется та штучка, на которой парень играет?!

  • u should look at promark

    DC50's their way better

  • @princessjordy94 their some nice sticks but they are not better than any vic firth stick. what he needs to try out are the ralph hardimon hammers or the johnny lee lane or the murray gusseck m dawgs

  • bunch of jealous losers. You were awesome dude. u inspired some and made the whingers of the comments section jealous

  • im telling you those ralph hardimon's are possibly the best marching sticks out there.

  • What is the name of the first trick you do? :)

  • you are awesome!!!do you play in a band?if not please find one......

  • nice tricks, work on not leaning to ur left as u get to harder tempos its very noticeable and not visually appealing..nice technique.

  • nice^^

  • holy crap he is good.

  • Awesome.

  • Can you make a video on how yo do the stick spinning you did at the beginning

  • what is the name of that trick at 1:05 with the toss of the drum stick one at a time??

    does it have a name??

  • @obitoaj I forgot. It's taught on jerr queen's "playing with sticks" check it out its great for... well... Playing with sticks!

  • @obitoaj itz called the spida toss

  • Nice audio quality!

  • 嘩~~~好好玩~

  • Spida WITH The stick toss.

  • Are you trying to play someting like the spyda toss?

  • damn wish i could play like that haha

  • u underwater?

  • Some of you guys are stupid. This video is called "STICK TRICK Improv 1". Not "Look at me play beefy clean beats"...you people need to chill.

  • Uh... im 17 and i try to learn now in a Tambourcorps

  • dude thats some good stuff

  • lol 0:30 slow version of spida toss

  • thats awesome what do u use for practice sticks

  • please respond, what age did you start druming

  • @Mr4419733 About 8-9 but got really into it when i was 11

  • which is better, your HQ or Vic Firth?

  • @Djboborei vic firth

  • for me, personally i prefer the system blue marching sticks. those are sick!!!

  • hey man, your hand technique is really good. Keep it up!

  • P.S. People of youtube, I take criticism well. I develop from it. What I don't like is criticism presented in an assholish way. Constructive critisism is what I'm looking for. Maybe I'm not the best and I am certainly not claiming that. I found stick tricks extreamly fun so i filmed a vid and uploaded it. I worked on technique alot but when I made this(2 1/2 years ago) i wasnt the best. Look at my recent vids then criticise. Thank you Kyle

  • @Kmanflyaway right on kid. keep learning. just slow it down

  • What pad is that?

  • dude. work on stick skills before those useless tricks. tricks are fine if you can back them up with good playing but you have some weak chops.

  • You got to watch your stick hight and be more on temple...but other than that nice job!

  • Awesome tricks dude!!! Ive got a few vida on stick tricks, please check them out If you get time. Ta

  • i dont think u guys who hate this video really understand exactly how much skill this takes. nice vid dude . : )

  • COOL

  • Spida toss. With an a. Ya you remember :D sweet

  • what was the use of switching sticks???

  • @mrchris33195 Different sticks = Different articulation

  • can you tell me please what kind of sticks are you using?those white ones

  • @raiden551666 They're Vic Firth Corpmaster® Ralph Hardimons.

They're possibly the best sticks for marching snare ever made. Most likley they will be available at your local music shop but if not they're available at their sight. Hope this helps.

  • thnx a lot:D:Dand yes..this information was very helpful me:D

  • @Kmanflyaway

ralph hardimons are great but honestly i prefer pro mark system blues

    those stick produce sound! lol

i play tenors by the way

  • @Kmanflyaway i had a pair of those and they were crap, they were not in tune at all and i broke 2 pairs in about a month

  • @Kmanflyaway i don think they are really all that great. not taking away from the greatness of ralph hardimon

  • @raiden551666 im pretty shure they a ralph hardemens or hardemans sum like that

  • someone bought lick of the week! ; D haha

  • Holdin it down for SD

  • Comment removed

  • @armeniandrums And you make me laugh :D

  • @Kmanflyaway I don't see why. His statement was 100% correct.

  • @armeniandrums thats harsh lol

  • props for being able to play spidatoss, but It seems you should concentrate on not visuals, everything else. note spacing, stock control as far as diddle and stuff goes

  • cool stuff man keep up the good work

  • how old are you,

  • Would you recommend that pad?

  • basically just a couple of scojo licks then

  • rofl sorry for spam i thought my message didnt pop up

  • Hey man can you do a tutorial vid on how to the trick from 0:32 to 0:36 plzz ? it looks kewl !

  • Heyyy mann can you make a tutorial on how to do the trick starts from 0:32 to 0:36 ,it looks sooo cool

  • to much visual work more on technique

  • hey good tricks. try to put them in more of rudiment fashion like on cheeses or on para-diddles. its really nice quality though. good job

    -drmr4lfe-

  • I've been trying to learn that stuff--any chance you could upload a slo-mo version???

  • i dont understand why he has to change pairs of sticks to do certain tricks.....

  • Sweet. I understand switching out sticks too. Smaller sticks are a wee bit easier to spin between fingers. Awesome job dude.

  • Man thats crazy! You are really good mate. I gave up the pipe band many years ago but wish i stuck at it after seeing this.

  • dude thats awesome, nice spin on da spida toss i like it

  • lol always practice

  • One word: Awsome!!!!! :D

  • WOW

  • dude you should make a how to video for the first part i would love to know how to do that!!!!

  • man he's already better than Travis Barker!

  • travis is shit

  • I'm so glad someone else in this world thinks that too! People only think he is good because he is main stream. They don't know about the truly amazing drummers like: Thomas Lang, Steve Smith, Dave Weckyl, JoJo Mayer, etc.

  • fukin skilzzzzz

  • That was legit dude.

  • where did u get dat pad cuz i hate my drum pad. i hate remo pads

  • nice my tricks arent have bad on the snare but thats crazy and i kinda get the use of the heavy and lighter sticks or are the tree trunks your performance sticks

  • i prefer the tree trunks because they bounce alot easier. Merry Christmas by the way. Check out my other vid Stick Trick Improv 2

  • and to you

  • @BUTCHERIHS go to guitar center and your self an HQ real feal or a promark x pad

  • Really Good Video Man But That Sounded Weird As Hell lol.

And Rolls Are A Little Weird But That Might Just Be The Tricks Messing You Up.

Oh And Try Using One Pair Of Sticks

  • you need to learn how to use just one pair of sticks

  • dude that is sick. i play the snare and culd prob never do that stuff

  • @redSK8TERgirl12

if you take the time to learn them theyre not that hard they are a lot of fun

  • I agree, cool theatrics, but every time you do a roll I cringe a little.

  • nice spins but work on your rolls bro

  • reaallly tiiiggghhht bro

  • nice work man

  • yay for tricks and everything..but damn dude your diddles are weak

  • they aren't any more

  • @triviumabrhtd nothin but a hater

  • nice dude....

  • you are a great snare drummer.

you need a better camera tho.

    keep it up.

  • ehhhh...

You should play some double beat.

  • I like it

  • well played

  • I actually have the jeff hardimon sticks. I love to use them not just for snare and rudiment practice but also playing set for my church as well. theyre great

  • Nice man. Real nice. I was thinking about buyin' a pair of thoses Jeff Queen sticks for practicing solo improv. and rudimental snare

  • lol loved the "hi mom" at 0:15

  • What? Am I missing something?

  • word that thing you did at the beginning is so awesome!!! I just found this guy who does alot of this on the drum set. Check out his solo if you get a chance

    /watch?v=4egu0S5aZDQ

  • dude how do u do that stick trick at the start looks just like tommy aldridge stick trick could u please make a vid and show us how to do it oh by the way ur fricking amazing!

  • Hey could you tell me about those Jeff Queen Sticks? I wanna know how good they are.

  • Kyle. . .

    :D

  • funny how ur good at that but ur terrible at ur electric wheelchair video..........learn to control ur sticks before u flip them

  • FUCK YOU

  • those jeff queen tosses were slopy

  • Its very repetitive, most likely because it was off the top of your head. You should invest in a snare software program if you haven't already so you can right this stuff down.

  • i do. i have sebalius. im working on alot of things incuding a snare solo

  • I think i have those white stick you have

  • Ottimo!

  • I'd focus more on building your technique and playing before you do anymore stick tricks.

  • mind you that this vid was from about 7 months ago and i was excited that i learned all these tricks with in two weeks so i put them up. of cours i focus on technique

  • Wow. 6,005

  • cool. well it sounds pretty good.

  • i hear a bit of blue devils accelarando?

  • yep, the spida toss

  • what is up with using two different kinds of sticks?

  • ralph hardimon stick are for playing artticulate, jeff queens are for tricks because they are lighter

  • ok i understand now

  • dude you should really make a tutorial on all your stick tricks

    i would like worship you

  • ill try. it will take awile
