I left a golden frog a male and a female. when i went back 40 minutes later they were all gone and all that was left was 2 baby frogs. Do you know wtf happened?? O_o

Can you catch tadpoles? because I've seen tadpoles in the marsh but don't know if you can catch them or how.

You can't catch tadpoles at all. If you wait a bit, they'll turn into catchable frogs.

The reason you might not want to keep the frogs is that if you leave a male and a female, then the frogs will regenerate faster at the marshes.

They will regenerate even faster if you leave a male, female and a golden frog in there.

What's the golden frog for? I saw one and grabbed it like any other frog....

Like i said: if you leave a male frog, female frog and a golden frog in the pond, then the frogs will regenerate faster than with just a male and female in there.

I think their was something about baby frogs too but i can't quite remember. If you really wanted to know, it's probably easy to look up somewhere.

@ulillillia The golden one just helps when you have a remaining male and female in the marsh. Then, when you come back later, you'll find frogs faster, than just leaving a male or female or nothing.

Because Ulillillia has gone beyond 100 hours, so the game resets the timer with a different colour.

@ulillillia My brother played this game for over 400 hours, bassically everytime you reach 100 hours, the clock changes colour, I want to see how many diffrent colours their are, but I don't think I have enough patience tbf :P Great guide btw, I always struggled with the frogs, and have never managed to get Quina's best weapon. Well no i can't rate yours. Youtube doesn't allowed viewers to rate and judge the uploaders comment.

And yes, i always use that reply method to view an extremely negative comment. But sometimes they are marked as spam, and that takes away the reply function.

I've replied to comments marked as spam. Some comments aren't actually spam even though they get marked. At the time, YouTube had a bug where I couldn't unmark a comment, a bug that remained for about 3 months, if not longer.

I mean comments that have about 30 thumbs down and are automatically marked as spam. Youtube basically blanks out the entire comment, making it completely unreadable. No reply button.

That's something I haven't seen or encountered yet. The lowest negative I've seen is something around -23.

Because you're the owner of the videos I believe YouTube doesnt display the thumbs up and down for your comments. I guess the idea is all your comments on your own videos are golden, not rated bad or good.

Also, I love watching these videos and I've never even played any of the Final Fantasy games since they went 3d. Your videos are always so interesting :D

I don't know if people have said it but I'm guessing when you said, "I always keep 'em because I have no idea what effect it has" you mean catching frogs generally and not baby frogs in particular.

If I remember correctly, the amount of frogs you have caught helps determine the power of Quina's moves (don't remember which one/s). The more frogs you have caught, the better.

The power of Frog Drop blue magic spell. Its damage is calculated multiplying the number of frogs caught with Quina's level. Ulillillia's Quina is on level 99, so 102 will do.

Your math is wrong. 99*102 = 10,098. It's actually 101, unless you can do more than 9999 damage. I haven't gotten the frog drop blue magic yet....

It is lerned from Gigan Toad, an enemy you can find in Qu's marshe. Yes, Ulillillia, I said the wrong number. By the way, it is absolutely impossible to vreak the damage limit in this game. There is no attack more that hits more than once, like FFVII's quadra cut, or S-Shot from FFV.

Hmm. That may be a bit difficult to weaken. FF7 and FF8 revolve a lot around combos. FF7 does as many as 36 hits in a single action - Cid's ultimate limit. Only FF8 and FF12, as far as I know, has the potential to go beyond 9999 damage, but that's only with Eden. I've seen 15,000 as the highest with Eden. FF12 holds the record - 21,000-something (in cure).

In FFX, if you have a weapon with "Break Damage Limit" you can deal up to 99,999. In the internacional version of FFXII there is no damage limit; a weapon of attack 60 can deal 15k damage. Also in any version of FFXII, you can cast renew on Yiazmat, and heal more than 50 million HP. In FFIX though, you can percieve they really strived for balance in combat, and thus moderated the amount of damage you can dish out.

I'm going on about 133 hours right now. Everyone except Freya, Dagger, and Amarant are level 99. These others are level 94 or 95. I have Zidane still virused to focus the EXP on these 3, making it 4/3 as fast.

i'm gonna try this on my bro's copy of disc4. mine just won't play right, i.e in battles, all i get is the background animations and camera rotations but that's that. nobody appears and the game is semi-locked.

This could be a sign of loading troubles which are almost always caused by a dirty or scratched disk. Have you tried cleaning the disk? A much less common case would be hardware failure (where it would affect multiple games).

Leaving a Male and Female frog will actually speed up their respawn process, so it's not a good idea to catch every and last frog.
