in the fourth round henderson was winning the first 3 minutes until he got completely gassed out, at fifth round shogun dominated the position but he doesn't landed a significative offense, he doesn't do any submission atempt, only weak ground and pound.... so the last 2 rounds were 10-9 to shogun
Alright let's agree in this aspect. I am a huge fan of both guys. I am certain many of you are as well. Let's be happy that this was a fight worth watching. These guys came in and tried to finish the fight. Not play around like Bisping or Machida does where its all point fighting style.

@wookie808 Problem with MMA are judges. They tend to score any round in favor of one opponent 10-9 although it maybe should've been scored 10-10, or 10-8. And I think we don't need 10-7 rounds, because it "kills" the fight, especially if it lasts three rounds.

I'm just saying the ending of this fight would've been more believable had it ended in a tie, sort of like the Pacquiao vs Marquez fight.

This fight could've gone either way, if I had my vote, it woulda been Shogun because Hendo began losing solely because of conditioning. Both GREAT competitors.

I dont know if he was tired, but when shogun had his back in the 5th round, henderson made no effort to protect his neck. Shogun could of easily chocked him out.

Nah, Shogun wasn't doing damage. Henderson was tired laying on his back, completely exhausted and Shogun was throwing weak punches. Visually you can think "oh ground and pound, Shogun is making a comeback" but no, he wasn't doing damage at the end.

in the fourth round henderson was winning the first 3 minutes until he got completely gassed out, at fifth round shogun dominated the position but he doesn't landed a significative offense, he doesn't do any submission atempt, only weak ground and pound.... so the last 2 rounds were 10-9 to shogun

@wookie808 Problem with MMA are judges. They tend to score any round in favor of one opponent 10-9 although it maybe should've been scored 10-10, or 10-8. And I think we don't need 10-7 rounds, because it "kills" the fight, especially if it lasts three rounds.
