Okay, I'm Syrian, I've been to Algeria and Lebanon, I know people from most the other Arab countries (they are even called Arab countries, or Arab world, and this is another obvious thing in common). Arabic may have many accents as any other language, people in every country mixed with their neighbor countries and became a bit different in how they look. The argument here is about the need to unite and find anything in common to reach a better position in the world.

I am very disturbed by this series and its many setbacks. How can the writers/directors forget the 1973 October war and 1973 Iraq's Oil nationalization? They jumped from 1967 war to the signing of the camp David agreement in 1978.

Nasser was not the only Arab leader for Arab unity causes. Nasser failed miserably, yet he has been glorified, but other leaders who attempted to do the same have not been mentioned; i.e. A. K. Qassim of Iraq, Al-Atasi of Syria and AbdulRahman Aref of Iraq.

Look at Malta. After the Arabs were defeated people were forced to convert to Christianity and you can't find any Muslims within the native population. But most of their language comes from the Arabic language. Arabic language did not survive just because people converted to Islam in the Arab Counrties. Also in most Arab countries you will find people of native other religions but you can't find any native muslims in Spain, Italy, Malta of Sicily.
