Hey Sis!!! First you look AMAZING!!! I love this hair on you! Your texture is beautiful! I was so going to do the same thing back in Nov but chickened out and got another relaxer. I am still on the fence so ya never know. As you can see I am all about switching things up and the wigs that are on the market today will allow you to have whatever look you want on any given day! I haven't had any post big chop regret as other people I've watched on YT. I'm in love with it and surprisingly I feel more sexy & confident with the short hair than I did when I was at waist length hair. Which is a little weird to admit out loud..........Happy New Year, Stay Sweet!!

my hair got overprocessed and came out too. I gave up and went natural, I didn't have the patience (it was 10 months and my hair still wasn't healthy enough to relax yet). I wanted to go natural anyway so it worked out. I love my natural hair and my only regret is not doing it sooner! So hang in there!

LOVE it please do progress videos i am three months post in a sew in ( i self install) and i am on the fence i just made mid back so it is hard BUT i also have NICE lace wigs that i wear so im going to try and make it to 8 months and see

@CHAQUI11 I sure will do progress videos. I tried to make it to 1yr but seeing the damaged hair was driving me crazy. I'm still angry about that jacked up sew in, it was a waste of money. Keep me posted on your progress.

Love your natural hair! And as far as the color, usually you need to lighten dark hair first with bleach powder and at least 20 volume developer to see any drastic change, then apply the color you want on top of your lightened hair.
