This teaser makes this game look like something dumb, it has the opposite effect of a trailer--It's actually one of the greatest games I've ever played! It has a wonderful storyline, good gameplay, and one of the most memorable characters ever to appear in a game. Pretty awesome for a budget game ;)

it was made by a third party devloper. look at all those downloadable games. that are hot on the marketplace and psnetwork. they look crappy and so last generation. so give it a chance it just might be the new hot survival horror

To everyone complaining about the graphics I would like to point out the original Resident Evil looked bad even by Playstation Standards. Blocky characters bland color palette etc. Silent Hill is still a scary place even though its graphics weren't that great either. I'm certainly thinking about getting this one. RE and SH just aren't what they used to be. Also it wasn't until the shocking remake on Nintendos platform that we actually got to see what it should have looked like. :D

I wouldn't even consider RE5 a horror game. It's an action game with horror elements. There are a few jump moments but other than that it isn't really scary.

A horror game isn't about graphics, it's about atmosphere and suspense.

I'll agree RE 5 was definitely not horror- When I finished the game I was like but what about the scary? Anyways as you track back it gets better. I just rebought RE Directors cut and RE 2...you cant tell me those games weren't scary. Maybe not Doom 3 scary but psychological.RE 1 and 2 were great horror games. However nothing will compare to Silent Hill 1 in the nightmare realm school - In one of the stalls there was a crucified Priest ..I was 12 yrs old haha & nearly pooped my pants

@Cubs1719 The only scary resident evil game is the remake. That was a genuine survival horror. Little/no ammunition, extremely powerful zombies, which came back as crimson heads unless they were burned or basically beheaded with a nicely aimed shotgun shell or magnum round. Pheneomenal atmosphere and a genuine fear of not wanting to meet a zombie round the corner.

I'm not sure why people are being so harsh about the graphics of this game. Spectacular graphics do not a scary game make, as evident with the earlier Silent Hill and Fatal Frame games. To me this looks like it has the potential to be a solid survival horror. Looking forward to it!

But this is a very bad trailer.

I'm sure they will design better graphics (is just a demonstration, and this will come for 2010)

But this trailer didn't convinced me, looks boring, tipical gameplay from other action games.
