you might have it volume locked, you can change that in settings. Or your headphones could be broken?

maybe your music is on low, you can change how loud you want oyur music on itunes or it might be your ipod, which you can change the volume control in the settings

my Computer (windows XP)and itunes have completley stop reading my ipod nano 3rd gen. it won't show up on my computer or itunes, can someone please reply with some help! thank you.

i had this problem, your computer most likely vista has corrupted it. To fix it :

open my computer, right click on the ipod, select format, and format it. then it will reboot. Reconnect the ipod, and your itunes will detect it.

Does anyone know if there is a way to make it so that the main menu screen and such doesn't divide in half so that I see the preview and album art? I like the whole-screen view like on the older models. If you know, please reply it would be appreciated. :)

I'm really split between buying this exact nano and the Zune 30. I like the nano for its size and screen quality. But i also like the Zune for its wireless abilities (syncing wirelessly and sharing files with other zunes)and screen size. Plus the Zune has way more memory, but thats not really the issue for me. They cost the same, so which one should I get.

I had my ipod nano since christmas and man, I LUV THE DAMN THING! Not only it's blue, but this thing took a beating (it accidentally got vacumed up yesterday and lived)

Jeez, sounds like a brilliant idea to me! Think how great that would be, especially if you're travelling with your iPod, no need to bring the dock/adaptors, etc etc. Call Apple up now!
