What what kind of paint did you use for the shells that keeps them from sticking?

i was going to buy this toy, because i had an idea. where the shells eject on the left there is a piece of plastic, i was going to cut that piece so its an open bolt and the shells would eject upward. would that work?

Pro tip: with lever action rifle'shald the three fingers you don't use for the trigger in the lever compartment and strech them and push of on the bast with your thumb when loading up the next round
