  • whats tht blk thing hes gripping the string with?

  • nice video!

  • All you wanna be hard asses that are giving this fella a hard time should STFU. Count the steps he makes. He took 46 steps. So yeah he is CLOSE very close to 50 yards if not right on the money. Yeah the left arm is a little bent. Who cares. Kid get your draw length extended an inch. Buy yourself a range finder. Keep shooting! May your blood trails be short. M

  • i was used to shoot bows like you... then i got an arrow to the knee....

  • @CoLdZeRo92 was deff ab to use the arrow to the knee joke until i saw yours =P

  • nice shots waht is your bow

  • @specialFXzilla1 hoyt avenger

  • nice shooting!! keep up the good work!

  • How long it take you to get like that? And what release you using?

  • and what you dont see is yhat theres a target th the side that there shooting and hand putting them in

  • dang boy ur good

  • i-....

i think he heeds a new target o_O

  • hey man your shooting great but it looks like your shooting aluminum arrows and the way to go is carbon fiber because they are lighter and faster

  • Good Job Mate, Keep it up :)

  • whats the pull weight?

  • I just bought a Hoyt Rampage for $650 and it is fantstic, ask the pro's Hoyt make some of the best bows in the world, and for the price you can't go wrong. Infact some prefer the rampage xt ( same price ) to the crx

  • tristanyip your so lucky your dad spent over $1000 on a bow for u and $300 pin sight my dad cant even get me quality arrows for target practice so jealous

  • what kind of bow is that?

  • Ya man fuck all these haters. One thing I have learned, if people talk shit...youre doin somethin right. Good shooting man and KEEP PRACTICING!

  • Where do you buy a Hoyt compound bow if you stay in wilmington north carolina

  • it would be a good idea to make a recurve bow wooden riser and buy the limbs arrows and strings? or the riser must be made out of aluminium?

  • @chilidress if you want to make a bow, i would suggest making a longbow. its much easier that way:)

  • @tristanyip My dad mad a longbow, it is great.

  • Keep with it bro and fuck what they say about form as long as you can put the meat on the table.

  • that kinda looks like a genesis bow

  • i pressed like inthe first 3 seconds purely because of the music!! good vid as well :D

  • nice vid

  • wahts the name of the bow and how mutsh it coast

  • Technical or not, he hit the bulls eye 2 out of 3. Thats what counts.

  • very bad shoot.bed technic...

  • very bad shooting...it isn't technical...

  • make sure you use your back mucsles too it helps you shoot bit better i am 44 years old and i use around 60-90

  • i never use thos shitty little triggers

  • your pulling some low poundage hella long arrows that you dont need and your drawlength is the shits

  • nice shooting ... u need to follow through and a better arrow rest after that u can get even better ....

  • Nice shooting and very quiet.,

  • That was good. Try a couple shots with your fore-grip opened. It is slot easier and will help eliminate jerking. ;)

  • Yeah man

  • A few years back.. nice job. Hope you have stuck with it! And dont listen to these fools on here making comparisons. Your skill is yours and thats all that matters.

  • make a new video when you get a mathews

  • @geeseslayer99 beauty comment bud :)

  • compounds can kiss my ass.....traditanol recurves all the way

  • @mmbw4 ok, first shut the hell up you freakin queer. 2nd more people shoot compounds than traditional recurves i think recurves are out numbered

  • F' the headbanger music! DUH DUH DUH

  • dont like the bow :(

  • learn properly how to shoot a bow

  • not impressed

  • wow learn to follow through bud and plus theres no way that your toothpick arms could pull back 53 pounds

  • @TheZ7shooter actually..... at that time i could pull back the bow at "53 pounds" with ONE finger!

PS: the poundage that i wanted originally was 55-70, but my dad ordered the wrong one.

  • @tristanyip Dont worry about poundage - there is an annoying sub culture that says only a real man draws 70LB's - it is total BS. Your bow is fine. To all jackasses with a huge hang up on poundage, I got a friend with a similar build to Tristan and he yanked back my 90LB Bowtech Tribute (cranked up to 93LB), no sweat and it was 4" overdraw for his size. Also, another skinny(ish) dude I know has a 120LB Bowtech Samson, and he can shoot it all day. BTW, his wife can also draw that bow back!

  • @TheZ7shooter draw weight has nothing to do with your arms if you're pulling the string correctly, your sapose to use your back, and shoulder muscles

  • @TheZ7shooter wow you're an ass hole. i'm 6 foot one and 140 pounds and am pulling 62. skininess has nothing to do with strength. you're just jealous that he probably pulls more than you.

  • @hoytrider yea ok bud if you read above i shoot an 80 pound destroyer i have better grouping at 100 yards than he does at 50

  • @TheZ7shooter dude im pullin 54 pounds and im 15 i got my new hoyt carbon element so accurate

  • @HunterFisher00 dude"good" for you ive been shooting 60 when i was 14. im 18 and shoot a z7at 70 and a bowtech destroyer 80 pounds

  • @TheZ7shooter its also way to quite to be that high of a poundage i shoot a 53 and it is loud thats seems like a little thirty pounder

  • @nichoharri i shoot 45 pounds at my bow is quiet as hell

  • @joshsw1 bull shit

  • @TheZ7shooter . . .your draw comes from your back muscles. if your using only your arms your putting too much load on the muscles that should be doing the fine aiming.

  • @TheZ7shooter That’s because you’re not supposed to pull back your bow with your arms. If you pull your bow back right, you should be using your shoulders and back.

  • @TheZ7shooter Mate..I hope you understand that when drawing and holding the weight, most of it is held with the back and shoulder muscles, not that arms. The forearms and arms come more into play when you do use a release aid, but still the majority is back muscles so, your criticism wasn't needed.

  • @TheZ7shooter: You stupid fuck I guarentee you this kid can out shoot you anyday and second "no way that your toothpick arms could pull back 53 pounds" Shows how much you really shoot because 53 lbs is nothing hard at all lolololol retard!!!

  • whats the song called

  • Que modelo específico de hoyt es tu arco? el Prohawk?

That specific model is your bow hoyt? the Prohawk?

  • Que modelo específico de hoyt es tu arco? el Prohawk?

That specific model is your bow hoyt? the Prohawk?

  • everything costed around $1500-1700

  • Man awsome bow How much is was It ,,I dont want to go blow another 600 for a crappy bow ,wait well i wouldnt say crappy matthews is a good brand but I really like your bow

  • @randomdamnninja19 everything costed around $1500-1700

  • @tristanyip thats a bunch of bull shit. I just bought the brand new 2011 Hoyt CRX 32 and i bought top of the line accessories and it was only $1250. there is noooooooooo way u spent $1700 on that crappy set up

  • @tristanyip even if you bought two of everything it wouldn't cost 1500 dude...

  • great shooting i wish i was as good and experienced as you also mad bow

  • @yacoub789 thank man :)

  • how much is that bow and is it a youth bow

  • Hoyt is the best bows on the market. no questin about it

  • PSE ALL THE WAY!!! More Records than any other bow in the world!!

  • ...yo le he contado 46 pasos desde su posición hata el blanco....deduzco qu no son 50 mtrs la distancia a la que el arquero dispara. De todas formas enhorabuena y bonito arco.

  • lol it sounds like the bow spits on targets!

  • @bucksk8 no way mathews is better than hoyt mathews make alot of solo cams and is for beginers and hoyt is for people that want the top notch best make bow that will get te job done, hoyt is the best

  • thats dang quiet

  • rambo would be proud.

  • i prefer traditional bows.

  • hoyt rules, matthews suck they cant even come out with new bows they gotta remane their old ones lol what a joke

  • matthews is way better then hoyt

  • @bucksk8 i disagree. hoyt makes the toughest most durable bows in the world.

  • @tristanyip well it really all opinion i shot Matthew's all my life nd ive never had 1 problem but i jus love to hunt and shoot my bow when ever i have the chance i dont care wat i shoot as long as i can hunt a enjoy the great out doors

  • @tristanyip i second that assessment hoyt is the toughest

  • @bucksk8 and PSE X FORSE is WAAAAAYYY better than matthews.

  • @bucksk8 You can see this video: THE PSE X-FORCE CHALLENGE TESTS or PSE X FORCE VS MATTEWS DRENALIN.

  • @bucksk8 matthews is the starbucks of the bow world. Give me a break.

  • what sights do you use and do you hunt

  • @loganwilson11 at the time i was using just a $40 3 pin sight. right now i use a $300 5 pin truglo sight.

I haven't hunted yet, but im planning on it.

  • @loganwilson11

Your draw length is too long, your back isn't straight .... you need to sort your hand grip out too and stop gripping the bow

You have the makings of a top grade archer, get things right now and your shooting will improve

Given the bow doesn't fit you're doing very well

  • Buddy DO NOT shoot a target shoot a 8,000 point buck!

  • mathews

    shot the target enough

  • Btw, No Mathews is not better. I'd shoot BowTech over Mathews anyway.

  • @Bowtechdestroyer350 YOU would shoot BowTech over Mathews, that doesn't mean that everyone else would. Don't post comments stating Mathews isn't better when you have no way of proving, it just makes you look immature and ignorant.

  • That's a nice bow you got there. Nice groups also!

  • gay

  • compound bow for lazy, make attempt a traditional bow.

  • i would get shorter arrows

  • looks like a little over 40 yards based on your steps but still first 2 shots were impressive. i saw you kind of pull that last one

  • hey, im a beginner and today i got me a 38 pro hoyt compound bow, im having trouble with the arrow staying in my rest when i draw my bow, its at 50 pound drawlenght atm, its max is 65 pound, any tips?

  • is that the turbowhawk? it sounds quiet, is it?

  • dont take this the wrong way but it not the hoyt that is shootin good its the shooter a bow is only as good as the person shooting it

  • that is realy easy go back father women

  • pussy im only 16 and i shoot a 70 lb

  • Congratulations!

    Please, what pounding?

  • how come my bow's not that quiet lol

  • You need a new target (: What is the bow you used exactly, like the model?

  • @xXDeadlyPixelXx hoyt avenger

  • dude get a real bow (matthews z7)

  • what kind of hoyt is that? is that a turbohawk?

  • What arrows are you using?

  • Nice shooting! I'm thinking about getting a Hoyt and this is helping my decision. Lol.

  • @CoreoBroomstick i would definitely go with a hoyt. they are amazing bows!

  • MATHEWS IS WAY BETTER

  • @tristanyip fuck u mathews

  • I just bought a matthew's z7 and love it

  • ur a damn good shot an nice bow too

  • hmm not to me its mainly the bow then archer if you learn how to shoot bow correctly most people can do it pretty well you never see a professional shooter with a sucky 1 at a competetion lol although practicing helps out alot to

  • @greyfoxpwnz i think its cuz professional archers get paid to use the newest bow models, sponsors and stuff. they want their newest bow being shown.

  • Nice shootin' Tex!

  • good job!!!!!!!

  • they good for hunting

  • this is what a good bow can do lol

  • @greyfoxpwnz it's more the archer than the bow.

  • @tristanyip im from new york city and i just walk around the street with my CMP bow shooting street lights n shit

  • @tristanyip Being humble decreases accuracy

  • for a compound bow do you have to have that wrist-pull-back-thingy?? or can you pull it back with your fingers??

  • @LineriderMasterDX yes you can pull back with your fingers.

  • @LineriderMasterDX the problem you have when you dont use a " wrist-pull-back-thingy" you twist the string in your fingers and torque the string, there only like 20 bucks for a decent one well worth the purchase!!

  • @LineriderMasterDX if you pull it back with your fingers its alot less acurate.

  • @LineriderMasterDX u can use ur fingers but its easier to have a release

  • wow that is such a nice bow

  • silenced bow rofl?

  • Man your bow is deadly quiet!

  • i fell bad for the target

  • WOW what a nice looking bow. I'm new to bows and was wondering about my left arm because i can't straighten it completely due to breaks and dislocations over the years. I noticed that your left arm is slightly bent, which is about as straight as i can get mine, so my question is, does it matter if you can't straighten the left arm as some ppl said it does but you don't and you shoot very well, whats your take on this?

  • @73mandala I think as long as you can be consistent in your arm extension then it doesn't matter.

  • @73mandala ur not supposto push ur arm straight .that is wut we like to call s.a.d....straight arm disorder....reaserch it...hoyt straight arm disorder... that will help show you the corect way to hold. altho it varies from person to person...if you have to stretch ur arm straight i would say the bow has to long of a draw for your arm..reasearch ur bow some are ajustible for draw length.......hope it helps. and good luck

  • I just got a new compound bow as a gift and know nothing about it and have no accesories, anything special i should do with it?

  • @yi238 i would get a 3 pin sight, arrow rest and a bow sling

  • @tristanyip whaaa...?

  • @yi238 tristanyip i agree 100% but he might wanna get some arrows to :). i recomend easton aluminum arrows with feild tips for regular practicing with a yellow jacket feild tip target. if you plan on hunting i recomend rage expandables.

  • @mizzoufootballfan you obviously dont get that i JUST got the bow.

  • @yi238 ya i do i was just giving you an idea of what you should probly get sorry if i offended you

  • @yi238 i would not recomend aluminum to any one for the simply fact that they bend.. im not trying to put any body down but carbon fiber is way better there around 12 bucks witch is more expensive but they are better quality... if you care to see for your self take an aluminum and a carbon fiber arrow go fifty yards from a concrete wall and shoot both at it 1 will be still good. like i sed im not trying to put any one down.. just trying to help 1 archor to another

  • i just got my new bow its a striker its 60-70 pounds

  • Bowhunter?

  • thats a beauty of a bow man

  • Very nice shooting, But you need a string stopped on it, will put your fps up a tiny bit and no drag on string, much better for wear and tear on it.

  • im pretty new to archery, i just got a Hoyt Rebel a few days ago. the draw weight is set at 40 pounds right now until i get used to it, but im putting it up to 50. i figure since im still a newbie with it, 50 pounds is plenty. very nice shooting in your video. i probably couldnt do that without my contacts. and i definitely couldnt be that accurate haha. keep up the good work.

  • My mathews Z7 is better!! catch us if you can!! lol

  • im 14 and i can pull 75 pretty easy cept my bows maxed at 60

so i shoot my dads sumtimes

  • @blubberboyisin you dont need to be shooting that high of poundage between 60 and 75 pounds it doesnt make much difference in speed, im 16 and i rarely shoot even 60 i shoot about 55 pound because that way i cant shoot all day without getting tired and all the more you need to hunt is 35 pound with these newer bows just a tip

  • @drummadave60 i agree wit drummadave60

  • @blubberboyisin no way u can pull 75 ive been shotting a bow 4 7 years now and IM 14 to i have a parker side kick xp and i shot it at 45 pounds

  • @blubberboyisin age says twenty nine on your channel. i doubt you can pull that

  • what kind of hoyt bow is it?

  • GOOD SHOOTING ~ BAD, TOO LOUD MUSIC!
