on the topic of sexuality, I remember when I realized I was BI. It really did catch me off gaurd and confused me to no end. the first attraction was while I was dating a girl from work. Then i started T... i lost a lot of control over my emotions and attractions toward girls. In some ways sexual or physical attraction goes beyond either sex or gender. The theory of bisexuality, is that you are attracted to certain "types" of people...physical appearance, personality and more. So liking guys and girls overlap...you tend to seek the same characteristics regardless of gender.

I had no idea it was possible for transgendered people's sexual preference to change once they started hormones. Is it that being bi to some extent beforehand is a factor? I might have misunderstood, but it sounds like you are still possibly bi, just now leaning the other way.

Yeah, I was a bit bi before with a definite preference for girls. Now I have an almost overwhelming preference for boys. My doctor said a lot of it is that estrogen has moved the pleasure centers in my body around. So my arousal is more typically "female"

Actually, I have something to contribute with the sexuality discussion. I feel that changes in sexuality during transition have a lot to do with self confidence/new self image. You tend to be more attracted to who you can see yourself with better. For example: as a girl, I identified as asexual. And now, transitioning to the androgynous boy I am, I'm beginning to feel attracted toward guys.
