Good Mr. President Obama is a hostage of the CIA coup d etat, committed in the dark of night, December 31st, 2011: NDAA. Mr. Obama should be impeached and guilty hijackers put on trial for treason. @irishdancer121 That is a really sad comment on your part. Don't just memorize it. Think about what this means. Imagine that at any moment, an enemy army could attack through your neighborhood and you and your family would have to rise up and fight. That is what these people did for our freedom.
@tjsbigidea Yeah but its really hard to memorize because it has no pattern: some lines rhyme some don't :( I only like poems that rhyme. btw I already did my presentation. Usually I get so nervous that I laugh uncontrollably but this time it didn't happen till the end when one of my friends asked me a confusing question. The question was "what is the legitamancy of this poem?" I didn't know what that meant so I just said out of stupidity " um...It was written...and is about Paul Revere" hahahah
and now the enemy is within the nation! Ride! free minds! the British have returned and they are the Bushes, the Cheneys, the Rumsfields! the crown seekers within are tearing our young and proud nation to pieces. Wake up! Ride!
I'm 38 and my whole life it seems during the month of April, esp. the 18th of April my Mom would recite this poem! She recited it so much and for so long now, that I have it memorized! Thanks for posting it...sure did bring a smile to my Mom's face.
Enjoyed watching this. Nice job of finding and aligning appropriate images for text being read. Great for students to watch! Helps to put people back in the time period and shows how individual courage helped start a young nation.
