I have a 99 ranger too that has a 2.5l in it with a manuel trans. I would love to but a 4bt cummins motor in it but i dont know if it would be worth it. What all would i have to do in order for it to work?

the reason your power is down is because scheid's dyno sucks. nothing against scheid in general, but I have witnessed 100-150 hp difference on 700-800 hp trucks in the same day when jumping from scheids to dunbar's dyno. Get in early and get on Dave's dyno next time.

yup, thats what the sheet said. its got 4.56 gears in the ass, that helped alittle on the torque. the reason my hp number was down, was because i was still running stock rpm on that run.

ive never seen such a large spread between the hp and torque.How fast was your top speed on the dyno?mine did 212hp with 363 ftlbs with some timing injectors and pump mods.

it was only able 2 reach bout 57 mph on dyno. the guy that did it said my rearend gears is what jumpd my torque like that. but also running a 4spd chevy behind it, its geared low as hell 2. im wanting 2 change my tranny, put 5spd in it, jump my rpms up and put on dyno again. And c what happens

hey douche bag 1 your gay, 2 the stacks are normal you need to pull you head out of your ass and look closer, and 3 why not put a diesel in a ranger, it'll get better mpg then a gasser, and it has an ass ton more power then a normal ranger ever will.
