am disappointed, it looks the same but with more colorful look in it. I thought it would look like the opening of bodakai 3 and Son Goku & His Friends Return =(
I think they're just remastering the old footage for HD and putting better special effects. They are also taking out all the filler to better fit the original manga.

Actually, Akira Toriyama had commented on the new Dragonball Evolution movie that Hollywood created, and to put it simply: He believes it to be a disaster, but compliments it in an obviously sarcastic manner. You know it'll be bad if the creator of the series says it will.
Either way, I'll see the movie just to laugh myself to death over it's sheer stupidity.
As for Evolution. No one from Japan is involved. It's going to be an absolute disaster. Cash grab and nothing else. Enjoy your emo Goku in high school.
Outside of specials and directors cuts there will NEVER be more DBZ. Toriyama is sick to death of writing it. Hell, the series was supposed to stop after Namek, until they dumped money on him.
At least the quality maintained through the Cell Games, although he did completely stop caring during the Buu Saga that much is obvious.
GT is just a trainwreck, no involvement, bastardized characters, so much pandering bullshit. It's completely ignored by the modern timeline, which is for the best

GT was a failed attempt to recreate/continue the DragonBall storyline. Enough said

well this is kinda disapointing i was expecting the upgrade in visual to be like compararing the 1980 astro boy look to the astro boy 2003. Well atleast its better than nothing if the show gets popular again theres bound to be some new games coming out
