first of off your worng, 33's will not throw your tires out. its the width. im running 33x12.50x18r fierce attitudes on 18in jester gear rims. and it throw the tires out about 2in. im about to move up the 36's 14in wide. same name brand tires and rims.

You don't have to do all that. I've painted over plenty of chrome as I own a Crown Vic and the paint wouldn't come off if I WANTED it to. all I did was rough it up with some sandpaper and paint. and I'm not talking about 60 grit I'm talking about what I had on hand don't exactly remember but probably around 400 grit.

Good video, he's a nice guy don't pick on him. I used Plasti Dip spray and didn't have to prime sand or paint, but it only last like 6 months. Try it, it's super easy and looks really good.

In your first minute your already wrong. The work truck had a even bigger chrome bumper. the only trucks that came with painted bumpers were sport pack trucks.

hotrod guys have been painting over chrome for years and sanding or scuffing it on gasket surfaces so it will seal. you have to sand it so the primer has something to bite on to.

Thanks, just the info I needed. Need to remove the chrome for the sidecar attaching mechanism (1956 steib) that some moron chrome plated. Now it can be done.
