  • "As above, so below" - what does this phrase even mean any more?

    "I don't see any god up here." - Yuri Gagarin, 1961. We know where clouds and sunshine (chief ingredients that lead to human sustenance) are, we do not need to attribute them to deities.

  • how bout the fibonacci sequence found in nature? To me, thats pretty as above so below, but really, the implications are nearly limitless and quite possibly, are.

  • Good point (Not that I know anything about biology or genetics) but I was referring to the phrase tradtionally meaning the heaven and the earth, that they are undoubtedly similar... yet scientifically there is no actual divine realm in the clouds, nor an infernal abyss underground.

  • So, how can he prove any of this? Where is his evidence that any of this exists? He speaks a lot of pretty words and quotes old tradidtions but bears no solid scientific evidence.
