This reminds me of something I saw on a nature documentary once.

There were those migrating gulls who fly south for the winter, you know? But there was this one gull who had a broken wing and couldn't fly. Although the flock flew away, his mate stayed behind with him and caught food for him, even though she could fly just fine and could have left if she wanted to.

Apparently, birds do that all the time. I think that kind of devotion is amazing.

@LadyMeav Actually I've heard her live... she really does sound like this. Obviously all studio recordings have some audio changes and correction made. But Origa sounds just as good live (unlike most artists nowadays)

@Revalna as for Latin, it is still technically used in Vatican City, and as for Japanese in her songs what about Inner Universe for one? a lot of her songs are used in animes in Japan and so she sings in Japanese for them

I think it's actually for the best. Most russian singers, especially those who sing on public concerts. Remember how great Pugacheva was when she was young? (At least I think, she was great). Now what? Now she's a show-woman.

Working with a Japanese company is what I'd consider luck, not becoming popular in Russia (although, obviously, popularity in Russia yields more money).
