hey, i just bought a 73 satelite, and it has the same hood scoops at the sport, however it once had vinyl, can someone help me tell what model i have, also it has a 383 4bbl from a 69 charger
@bigduo99 you're best bet is to use the serial number and also the small placque on the radiator to get the codes of the car. It sounds like you're car has been modified over the years......those codes would solve the problem. there are experts out there that can decode it all. which what you said above, it's just not enough information to understand what you acutally have.
My mom had a '74. I loved the car, I thought it was the best looking car plymouth made. Funny how it often gets confused with the torino on the tv series Startsky and Hutch.

This is a nice archive piece! It strikes me how disinterested the narrator sounds - like he's not really trying to sell the car. Sounded more like an old film-strip about dividing cells or erupting volcanoes. LOL.
Not really, The Charger had it's own body which was very different than the Sebring. The Sebring was different from any other 2 door Dodge but was in it's own class. The Plymouth Satellite 4 doors and Dodge Coronets were extremely similiar. There was no Dodge Coronet 2 door model by this time.
@2008ljr can you name at least one? Clearly the windshield....but what else????? I don't think you'll be able to name another body part that was the same between a Charger and a Satellite that is interchangable.

I'm restoring a 1974 Satellite Sebring and I've owned a 1973 Roadrunner and a 1973 Satellite in my younger years. Great find on this video...thanks!
