JP: Dude, there's this guy that's in this band you might know, his name's JP from Paradox Crossing. They have a Youtube, PDXvlog or whatever. It's this awesome band in Portland, OR, which is the best city on earth. Better than Texas. And like, I hear he plays guitar - he used to take a few lessons once or thrice.

Maybe he can accompany you on acoustic during a rap. That would be cool. But then again, maybe he won't. Maybe he'll eat his own boogers. Only time will tell. The end.

JP from Paradox Crossing here: My attendance to this event is still up in the air, but I think, depending on the amount of performers (I do NOT see so many being there that'll fill up 6 total hours), that fifteen minutes is a much better and more routine amount of time for people to play on an open mic. It gives the artists greater exposure and a lot more room to move in terms of their song choices. Setup and set-down should only take 5-10 minutes in between sets.

Just a suggestion.

yeah...it depends on demand...we aren't really looking for people to have much setup. there will be 2 mics and amp and speakers...it's not a setup for a full band.
