A flight that normally lands at Wash natl. Diverted to Dulles due to weather. Pilot blaimed for not knowing that a 1700 ft. mountian was sticking up between the plane and the runway at about 24 miles out. Known ongoing problem finally delt with after loss of life. 1 Dec. 1974...Rest in Peace....
