  • 2 things...

    1. I believe Velcro to be washable, from when I used to wear Velcro shoes, if they were dirty, ma mum just put them in the washing machine.

    2. OI! I WAS WATCHING SPONGEBOB!

  • @SilentHillFanGroup Good to know about velcro being washable... and yeah spongebob is on Nick like almost 24 hours a day!

  • @StupidInventions BUT

    I

    LOVE

    SPONGEBOB!!!

  • now if the remote was waterproof you could wash it and you wouldn't have to keep a nasty plastic fork all the time.

  • @WaffeMoobs you could still hand wash the fork part... or make it detachable...

  • is the fork remote dishwasher safe?!?

  • @actionsports2 you could handwash it... or maybe make it detachable?

  • @StupidInventions Is velcro is washable?

  • @MDTeddy I think it is, no?

  • lolz i just made my fork remote!!!!!!!

its the best thing in the world!

    (very usefull)

  • really? you should take a video of it, id love to see it.

    It is actually useful....

  • I just made my very own fork remote! lol

  • Awesome!

you should make a video and post it as a response! would love to see it :)

  • isnt that just a fork taped to a remote

  • yes!

but isnt it an awesome idea?

  • hahaha thats actually a really good idea :D

  • thanks!

    these really should exist!

  • how'd u wash the fork???

  • as long as you keep the remote away from the water and just wash the fork you can clean it!

  • lol this is actually a really good idea. haha..

  • thanks! they really should make this!

  • OMG !!! thats amazing ! i can soooo use that!! whear do i bye one? i hope it dose not cost alot (: caus it looks hard to make

  • it took me 10 years to build and develop and over $100,000 to design and build the prototype... jk :)

  • uhmmm is this a fork taped to a remote?

  • indeed it is! :)

  • what a great idea!

  • thats actually a really good idea!! I want one for me dad lol

  • lol, thanks!

they really should make this for real, lol

  • greatest idea ever

  • ha! thanks! :)

  • yeah but sporks are funnier...

  • this is my favorite show on youtube

  • thanks!

now please tell a few thousand of your friends!

  • not ur best work but still cool 5 stars

  • oh well, theres always the next one!

  • or just a spork!

  • oh thats what u did....

  • lol exactly!

sometimes the best inventions are the simplest... or at least entertaining...

  • why dont u just tape a fork to the back of the remote

  • your very random

    but your a genius

  • thank you!

  • A miracle wrapped on a remote...which makes....an remote miracle!!! lol. I love it. I would so use this like every day.

  • lol thanks!

I would use it to, I dont know why this doesnt exist for real...

  • And a knife on the side.

A knife that comes out of the remote!

  • wow, a pocket knife/remote maybe?

  • That is one crazy invention! LOL!

  • Thanks! thats what we aim for!

  • win

  • thanks!

  • Spongebob was random

  • not really its practically on Nick 24/7

  • I saw spongebob

  • that was him!

  • Wow. wouldn't want to lose that somewhere between the couch cushions (as happens usually with remotes) and have someone end up sitting on it and poking their arse with the fork. LOL.

  • ha! now that would hurt!

But on the plus side, it would make this remote easy to find!

  • LOL...

    *hey where's the remote?*

*have a seat and lets find out*

    haha!

  • "OUCH!"

    "I found it!"

  • nice video. What do you edit with?

  • Thanks!

    Adobe After Effects

  • Awesome but don't celebrate Thanksgiving here.

  • you're not thankful for stuff where you're from?

  • it's not that we're not thankful. it's just that it isn't traditional in Australia.

  • oh yeah? I didnt know Australia didnt have thanksgiving... well you have boomerangs and kangaroos so that makes up for it! cool :)

  • lol, one the biggest cliches.. but yeh, it's cool. xD...

ever tried to throw a boomerang though? only got it to come back a few times out of a beepload of throws...

  • I know, sorry :)

I had a cheap one when I was younger and could never get it to come back... I though maybe you had to be Australian to do it... :)

  • no need to be sorry. lol, it's harder than it looks. dun need to be aussie. :)

  • Ha, another brilliant invention. It made me realize just how many things you could attach a fork/spoon/knife to. I'll have to check out your webcomic, too. If the videos are any indication, it should be excellent.

  • lol, pretty much Anything + Spork = Awesome.... thats the Stupid Inventions Equation!

Let me know what you think!

New comic goes up at midnight EST (I update it every Monday and Thursday)

  • This is perfect. You can alsouse the fork to poke those annoying kids into submission, that are screaming and running around the room

  • lol, i didnt think of that use.... interesting, :)

  • I love u man hahaha

  • lol thanks, glad you enjoyed!

  • Awsome... but In canada thanks giving is in october 0.0

  • oh well, you can still use the invention, even though its not thanksgiving...

  • how do you wash the fork without ruining the remote?

  • if you hand wash it it shouldnt be too hard...

If i was making this to be sold I would make the fork part detachable....

  • LOL I want one of those!

  • lol, just make your own! :) and post a video!

  • Awesome invention!

  • Off Topic Discussion:

Has anyone checked out my new webcomic, Stupid Inventor? (Link to it in the sidebar, or just google it) I would love some feedback on what you all think of it.... Thanks so much!

  • oh i've seen the! you draw those yourself? i love the donkey kong theroy one.

  • Yeah, I draw them all by myself, its very fun.

Oh thanks! I have another Nintendo themed comic coming up eventually...

  • SPONGEBOB =3

  • true that!

  • arent ther elike a ton of germs on remotes?

  • if you never wash them and leave them stuck in the couch, then yeah...

  • HAHA Great idea, my friend! Have a Happy Turkey Day!

  • Thanks, you too!

  • awesome stupid invention! even though thanksgiving has already passed here it's still awesome!

  • thanks!

ZOMG are you from the future?

  • Could be. Or he is from Canada (they have thanksgiving sooner).

  • Oh, thats a boring, yet more rational explanation... :)

  • yes yes i am

  • cool!

  • OH MY GOD THIS IS SO FREAKING AWESOME

  • hahahah thank you, glad you liked it!

  • This is the most groundbreaking invention ever! It opens up a whole new world of fatassery! lol

  • lol, exactly!

  • can i please buy one? my card is a visa. the number is 0371 2390 2203 expires in June of 2013 the security number (if needed) is 276. My name is Emily Burkis. Adress is 5732 Drovelen ST SW Cupertino, CA 95014.

  • are you kidding me? i hope thats fake. ur lucky i wont buy anything with that number

  • umm...HELLOOOO why would i put a fake number if i want to buy it? THen i wouldnt get it DUH.

  • im clueless. people can use that number to but expensive things!

  • aww its ok. im a professional so i know what im doing. i like your lego pinball machine. thats cool.

  • thanx

  • wow, great job on that lego pinball machine! have you entered that into any contests?

  • thanks!!! No, I havn't found any contests for it yet.

your stuff is great too, though!

  • well, you should keep an eye out... its very cool.

  • lol, I just want to make sure, thats not a real credit card and address, is it? (i realize youre probably joking, just have to make sure..)

  • you need to go to a mental hospital or something!

  • my credit card number is 7, i want to buy one!

  • wow, it must be a very old credit card!

  • This is not a stupid idea^^

  • thanks!

  • For once you come up with an original invention that I haven't already employed in my own life. Thank you Stupid Inventions.

  • for once?

you already had a Infinite Slinky Machine?

  • whata gangster

  • ganster? Me? i dont think so...

  • i have an idea, take an old Intelevision videogame consold and mod it to work as a phone

  • better yet, mod an old laser pen into just a pen

  • HA! that is hilarious!

    :)

  • lol, a cell phone? and would it still work as a console? not sure i could do that...

  • no mod the controller into a house phone

  • That looked a lot better than i thought it would.

    An yay for [Scrubs]

  • Really? how bad were you thinking it would look, lol

    Gotta love Scrubs!

  • Well it looks a lot easier to eat with than i imagined from just reading the title. lol

  • now how do you wash the fork?

  • you never do it. thats the "invention"

  • lol, you could just hand wash the fork part....

I guess if I was making this to sell I would make the fork part detatchable....

  • This isnt stupid, its brilliant!

  • lol thanks! glad you enjoyed!

  • good fun! I look forward to your vids.

It must be difficult coming up with fresh ideas. Maybe you could open it up a bit by creating a video response competition where your subscribers submit vids of their stupid inventions. I think you'd get quite a good response rate, increase you subscribers and visibility. YouTube loves those kind of vids. Plus you would get lots of new ideas for future vids but still remain in control.

  • Thanks! Glad you like the videos!

Hmm... that's a very interesting idea... maybe I'll do that in January.. Thanks for the idea!

By the way, have you checked out my new webcomic, Stupid Inventor? Link in the sidebar, would love to know what you think... :)

  • i just came up with something for you a jelly bean gun super fast feeding.

  • lol, that would be awesome!

    but maybe a choking hazard?

  • Perfect, now I can keep the family from watching football and turn it to something good!!

  • exactly!

    cartoons rule.... :)

  • you might want to ad a warning :D

--- careful not to hit any buttons while forking food into face, you may get turned on ---

  • dont press the mute button either! :)

  • Make it a spork remote.

  • ha!

I was thinking that, but i didnt have a spork... :(

  • haha there's a titanium spork that only costs about $10. It's worth it.

  • lol, now i know what I should get as a chanukkah present!

  • woot 13th

  • woot indeed!

  • I love it! Contrary to somebodys earlier comment about it simply being ducktaped together, I never will have to set the remote down again just to grap that last slice of turkey with my hand.

  • yeah, I knew I shouldnt have used duct tape, I should have just cracked the spoons handle off, and super glued it... oh well...

  • EPIC SAUCE!

  • thanks sauce!

  • This is in no way a stupid invention.

I mean, who doesn't enjoy TV and eating combined?

    Bonus score for watching spongebob

  • I would totally use this remote for the tv in my kitchen at least....

ha, spongebob is always on tv....

  • now you have to make a beer warmer because haveing warm beer is crap so it's stupid.

  • lol, it can just be stupid, it has to be stupid, but serve some sort of purpose too...

  • woot! spongebob! lol

  • ha! I was wondering who would be the first to mention that....

  • woot!

  • NICE? NONETHELESS LOL

  • :) nonetheless?

  • WHAT IS THIS I DONT EVEN....

  • still dont get it...

  • LOL

  • thanks :)

  • i mean, you guys were cool with the slinkie invention and a few others, but lately..the inventions went from creative and funny to just like...taping things together. entertainment value = lowest piont ever when you just ductape a fork to a controller.

  • very valid point. I made a list of like 10 inventions I wanted to make a few months ago, but because of school and my new webcomic, Stupid Inventor, I haven't had much time, so I've been picking and making the "easier" inventions on the list....

I can assure you i have at least two ideas that are more complicated.... and my semester ends mid-december so hopefully the inventions will be even better!

  • That being said, imagine if I was a real manufacturer and had access to a molding machine and could make a remote with a fork attached for real.... wouldn't that invention be funny? I guess with all these videos you have to judge the idea and not the execution... and I must say using the fork remote was actually pretty fun, I dont know why its not a real product!

Thanks for watching and commenting, constructive feedback is always appreciated!

    :)

  • Nice one, thanks for the smile i have on my face at this moment.

  • ha! happy to give you a smile!

  • Clever invention lol.

  • thanks! glad you liked it!
