  • Wow, this is material for many ragtimes more. Great stuff!

  • que programa usa?????????

  • @drogato6 Sibelius.

  • Good great LORD!

    I love it!

  • prtty good!!! with some polishing up, it could be ONE FOR THE AGES!!!!!!!!!!! *CUE DRAMATIC MUSIC*

  • I thought it sounded good, but I was kind of thrown off at the end you suddenly introduced some new stuff when you should have been resolving everything. I liked how it sounded out of context, but it kind of didn't fit. Whatever, still good.

  • Yes, very difficult to crank out good compositions! I just wish I had this type of software instead of old "Noteworthy composer."

  • Good Lord.

    Nice job writing that.

That would take me forever to do.

    XD

  • Compared to rags I wrote three years ago (when I was whipping them out in one sitting), this one did take relatively forever.

  • I like the second half of the last strain

  • Do you think you could send me a copy when it's done?

  • Remember that you can never have "too beautiful" [unless of course you equate "beautiful" with a lot of meaningless arpeggiated rolled major chords, as in the ads for way too many of the reveries written in the ragtime era]. I have several pretty parts in "Humanitaur Rag", my second-place runner-up in the Peoria new rag contest. They are to contrast with the other parts which are hotter and/or more bizarre. It is good to have variety within a single rag. Too many rags have too much consistency.

  • Thanks for your post!Second part is very nice, interesting harmony.I like it!
