Torso rotation is at the core of good paddling. But, bend the elbows toward the end of the stroke (and while lifting the blade out of the water). This releases tension on the active side and will help put more power into the next stroke (on the opposite side). When paddling with straight arms (as shown toward the end of this video) you will lose power and may set yourself up for serious injury.
@DeepWaterKayaker I have other sort of concern and that's why I am here. Im n amateur novice kayker and I went kayaking today at Porto da Barra, Salvador, Brazil. I didt it for about an hour with my legs streched on the kayak all the time. As a result, I guess the position caused some pressure keeping the blood from circulating well in that region and I did not realize that. When I got off the kayak I almost fell to the ground cause my legs were completely dormant. How can I avoid that?
play with the foot pegs and the location of the seat if possible.
You don't want your legs stretched out, you will lose circulation, you also don't want your knees to be bent too much either, lose circulation as well.
It makes all the difference in kayaking if your legs are in the right position and actively a part of kayaking and bracing

in a sea kayak, should one's knees touch the knee pads while feet are pressing on pedals?

Free Energy is real but the coverup is strong, if you are interested in a REAL free energy machine then
just search for the LT MAGNET MOTOR in the youtube video search , it is probably the ONLY working magnet
motor out there. Join the free energy revolution!!

This video doesn't go over anything that isn't more or less common sense. But there are a LOT of people who paddle incorrectly.
