idle up is a flight mode which is on most colective pitch helicopters, which allows the head speed to remain at 90% or desired speed which is programmed for
it will increase to 100% when negative or positive pitch is applyed, which allows for better holding and stability and allows you to go inverted, without the throttle reducing back to lower as if it would in normal mode
You should fly in idle up. The heli will be a lot more stable and you won't be bobbing up and down so much do to the throttle coming up and down with the left stick. Your not doing bad though.
Don't fly idle up. Leave it as is, and use much finer inputs on the controls, but this was 7 months ago, I am sure you are a pro now.

You should fly in idle up. The heli will be a lot more stable and you won't be bobbing up and down so much do to the throttle coming up and down with the left stick. Your not doing bad though.
