  • I played this as a band at my first 8th grade concert and people were crying because it was last Tuesday, three days from veterans day. God bless America and give strength to the men and women fighting over seas to protect our great nation

  • God bless America !

  • This is why I am going to join the US military

  • One raghead misclicked and "disliked" this! Send the Marines to find him !!! LOL

  • Congrats on considering military. It's not for everyone but all the guys I know from WWII to today, consider it an honorable and educational way to grow up. There is of course a certain danger. Some are injured, some die, but all seem to have a brotherhood with others. I have a friend that was top Marine recruiter in nation (he's retired) and another Army retiree that escaped Cuba at age fourteen and served for 40 years (private to colonel). If you feel either of these can help, contact me.

  • So Patriotic......

  • saved the best song for last

  • USA, Europe, South Africa, Russia, India, and China should all team up.

  • we sang this at my scool at granparens day but wit woords

  • @YoshiDude43 Yoshi, that's wonderful! I made the video when we were hosting about 100 veterans at an appreciation dinner. Many of the veterans lost many of their friends in wars doing their best to protect our great country. I'm sure the grandparents and their many friends were greatful for your song. I'm thankful I played a small part in assisting you. It sounds like you have a caring group of teachers and families. Again, THANK YOU, DUDE! Jim in Clayton, NC

  • @jimlee709 do u know the words to it

  • @YoshiDude43 I know the words fairly well for the Army and Marine hymns. Bits for the Navy and Air Force and none for the Coast Guard. If you have them, I'd love to get them. I expect I'm much older than you and I would need everything spelled correctly so I can understand all. I'm not much on the abbreviations of the young folks. Can you do it? What city or area are you in? My town of Clayton is near Raleigh, NC.

  • @YoshiDude43

How did you get the music on your slides? I am technically challenged and would love to have a presentation like this for our school assembly. I need help please.

  • 0:33

    LOLOLOL

Arab: "I eat so little my poop size of quarter"

Rifleman: "I understand that sir but you cant go around hijacking our convoys"

  • SIr do you happen to know the name of the ship 1:12?

It looks alot like the ship my Dad was on in Vietnam.

    Thank You for posting.

    R.Wookiee

  • great video

  • Semper Vigilo, Fortis, Paratus, et Fidelis!

  • most awesome

  • kinda sad when the hymns evoke more pride than what out country has been up to in the past 15 years, hail to all the vets. thank you for you bravery!

  • .....still clinging to my guns and religion!!!

  • I remember for Veterans Day, my choir, along with about four others sang all these song with the words for an audience of Veterans. Each time we sang a tune, Veterans from that branch would stand the choirs (Nearly 2-3 hundred people) and the audience would clap and cheer as we sang. It was so awesome.

  • GOD BLESS, OUR TROOPS

    & ALL ALLIED FORCES!

    Praise The LORD

    and Pass The Ammunition!

    DEO VINDICE!

  • We played something similar to this at a football game in November for Veteran's day at my high school. I can never remember which branch of the military the first song is from though... Or am I completely screwed up and don't know what I'm talking about? Can anyone tell me...?

  • YourPeep, the order in this medley is: Army, Navy, Air Force (The Toast then Anthem) and Marines.

  • it goes air force/army/navy/natiolg gauad/maries/

    sorry i cant spell

  • BTW, the US Marine Band has very nearly the same version of the Armed Forces Medley, WITH the Coast Guard Song in the spot where San Diego Symphony plays "Toast."

  • At 1:30 is part of the Air Force Anthem known as "The Toast" - considered the 3rd verse of that Anthem. The music is The Armed Forces Medly by the San Diego Symphony from an album called "Pass in Review - Quintessense." Anyway, nice job. I enjoyed it!

  • When you had the Coast Guard pics, it was playing part of the USAF song....

  • Hey, thanks for watching. I've watched it twice and it is correct. Maybe YouTube transmitted it funny. I can't make it fail. Thanks

    jim

  • Great video. Thank you. God Bless America.

  • your welcome i mean after all im in the rangers so i should know what it is lol

  • Rangers? As in airborne? Maybe Ft.Bragg? If you're in Fayetteville and coming toward Raleigh for entertainment, I can get you free tickets to the LOL Comedy Club in Clayton, NC.

    Thanks for your service.

  • rangers as in airborne its gonna be a hard one! lol no im actually waitning at my home to be called out to my location of insertion into the war lol i would like to go to the comedy club lol

  • Mr. Fever! Tanks for reviewing a second time to get it right. The video should be correct or all my military friends would crate me up and send me to Iraq.

    Thanks,

    Jim

  • i fucked up the last one is the MARINES NOT AIR FORCE!!!!

  • yea at the end is air force

  • 1:32 thats the air force song no the coast guard.

  • Air force is the last one.

  • Angel, please review. Unless something is screwy with youtube, the last part of vid with Marines marching and the sunset photo of the Iwo Jima flag raising is certainly the Marine Hymn. My friends that fought at Iwo Jima would never forgive me, NEVER, if I had the Marine Hymn wrong.

    Thanks, Jim

  • Sorry, dude! Unless YouTube goofed your view, the Coast Guard Hymn and all others in the medly are played by the US Marine Band. I times the pictures to show Coast Guard during their hymn. Please review and confirm something hasn't "broken." On my end, it seems ok.

    Thanks

    Jim
