hi guys i still remember seeing the boat on the start of msr i am from malta so i have been to every start she was a very nice boat and i was in shock when i got to know that she was abandoned

Hi! Maybe I can shed some light on this... This was during the Rolex Middle Sea Race of 2007 the weather was realll strong :) Most of the boats didn't finish (some 85%) and Loki was abandoned by her crew in real bad weather. They left her on anchor and so the crew were fine. The event is sponsored by Rolex so not sure that you're on about

the speakers are italian, in the first part of the video they say that the boat is very strong, very well-built. in the central part they speak about the ancorage and think of a way to safe the boat. in the last part, at night, they say thank you to the guys that tried to safe it.
