A few months later...I bought a Daytona Blue 350z (Touring model - 6 speed M/T).

These cars are so fun. And yes, the sliding rear end is lovely when you feel the need for it. The first thing I noticed when I took mine out for a test drive was the superb handling. It's unlike most cars you've driven. The sound, the acceleration, the torque, and especially the handling...this car was made for the track. I can't stress how fantastic the feel of this car is.

No one who could afford a GTR would be as profilgate and undiplomatic in their commentary as you have been. I suspect you test drive GTRs only in Gran Turismo. BMW is an entirely different experience than the electronic GTR video game experience. The customizable gauges via video screen are flashy and novel for about five seconds. Give me an analog tach and speedometer any day. Oh, yeah, and a NA 3.0 straight six made in Germany any day. At the end of the day, it's all personall preference.

GTR has a great chasis. minimal turbo lag. extremely responsive steering. just an engine might not do the job. say if you do win. the GTR still has the last laugh after your busy weeks in the garage.

I had an audi TT 225hp model. I think the 350z drives better and def has more torque. The audi just gets more looks just cause its an audi. Z's are soo cheap now, anyone can pick one up for like 10-12k.

i went for a red TT225. I always see chicks driving the Z, and they're everywere. Don't get me wrong, they're nice cars.. but i always see them. So i dropped an APR chip on the TT.. which made it ALOT quicker.
