Cryptic, yes I've checked out that site as well as its predecessor site. Personally, I think 911research is the best of the conspiracy sites, but it can get a little wacky too. I find there are almost no advanced scientists who subscribe to the demolition theory. Having completed conscribtional service in the miltary (Norway) I know for myself as an Sgt. and my troop mates that I wouldn't ever follow any such orders and that most certainly none of the Lt. or Capt. would ever do such a thing as the loyalty to one's own men is much stronger than the loyalty to the political faction that happens to be in power.

Neither of you know anything about firefighting. You say things like they are fact but really aren't. I am intimately familiar with the effect of fire on structural integrity of structures, you aren't. Once the building collapsed the temperature inside was quite sufficient to melt steel. Initially the steel only had to weaken enough to lose strength. You are both idiots blinded by hate.

Actually I know that these attacks were the work of terrorists flying hijacked planes. I went to G-zero. Looked at the wreckage, talked with brother firefighters, police officers and went to the funerals. I've spent my life fighting fires have been schooled in construction and high rise firefighting. WTC6 partially collapsed in a big plume of smoke at ~9:15am. Reported pop-pop-pop's in WTC6 also.
It collapsed more later in the day - and was totally pulled a few months later.
There was molten metal under WTC6 - as with WTC1, 2 and 7.

110 floors each 1 acer. Thousands of gallons of Jet Fuel start 10 floors of fire simultaneously. Compact the entire thing and the heat buildup would be tremendous. Like a furnace. OF COURSE the temp would be 2000 deg in there.

I've been on fires that burned for days after collapses. It is INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT to penetrate a collapse with hose streams to hit the seat of the fires sometimes. Thats why they bring in cranes so we can hit the hot spots. 2000 deg. is an easy temp to reach. Your roast a turkey at 450 deg.

S for brains: Structural engineers no very little about fire. They don't build buildings to resist fire. Thats done after the building is designed. Let's see, we know explosives don't make metals molten. And thermite reacts fast and cools quickly, so it can't keep metal in molten form for 10 minutes, let alone for 4 weeks. And we also know that molten metal was reported under WTC 6, which CTers don't claim was brought down by explosive demolition. So if the high levels of heat weren't caused by explosives or incendiaries, what could have caused them? Could it have to do with the tremendous kinetic energy involved in the collapses?

Yes, thermite won't last for very long, but once "done" the liquified steel won't cool down for a long, long time...
Hoses were still pouring on this red-hot-"goo" up until MARCH 2002.
So the molten steel remained red hot under the demo'd superstructure after absorbing all that kinetic energy!

Molten steel is a sign of MOLTEN STEEL.
It melts at 2800 degrees.
Jetfuel burns at max 1000 degrees.

The MAXIMUM temperature possible is around 1K degrees.

Capt - we just see it differently.
WARPED STEEL is one thing - but for a symetrical collapse directly into the building's footprint at freefall = CONTROLLED DEMO.
This isn't a question buddy - 60% strength loss at 1000 degrees is one thing but YOU KNOW it wasn't over the entire structure THEREFORE the towers would FALL OVER - not into themselves - thus on one day in 2001 all the laws of physics were broken.
9/11 is a magic trick - the TRUTH will come out - it's just a matter of time.

PoetryHound please visit "Scholars for 9/11 Truth & Justice" and view the accredited members who go against the official explanation for the attacks, you will find more academics saying all three buildings were brought down by controlled demolitions than those who helped the 9/11 commission report, I don't know how you can really ignore all these very cleaver & level headed people backing up exactly what I'm trying to show you.

Cryptic, yes I've checked out that site as well as its predecessor site. Personally, I think 911research is the best of the conspiracy sites, but it can get a little wacky too. I find there are almost no advanced scientists who subscribe to the demolition theory. There are no structural or civil engineers who specialize in high-rise construction, no metallurgists, no fire engineers, and no demolition experts. So they're not convincing to me (although I do like Steven Jones' calm demeanor.)

And what's your response to the charge that NY firemen know there was a demolition conspiracy but they're not talking about it because they want to save their jobs?

No FF's put water on that fire. It was NOT going out. Sprinklers destroyed by the impact. 33 miles of steel had to be heated? Says who? Steel ABSORBS heat. Only the steel around the impact area needed to be heated to as little as 1200 deg and it was over. FDNY ain't talking cause they know these dopes are...dopes. Nothing would stop me from killing anyone resp. for taking 343 of my brothers. Bet on it.

Lets get this straight: I'm a FF. An officer in a major metro dept. These people who allege conspiracy take fragments and expand on it as if this means that. Not so. P.Hound-White smoke means that water is being put on the fire. Only 1 individual made it to 78 floor. Lowest floor of impact and said minor fire. ON THAT FLOOR. Fire got progressively worse as you went up. 10 acres of interior fire. No FD could put that out. The structural steel absorbed all the heat and couldn't bear the load any further. PBS docu. shows it clearly as the columns finally buckle outward. (heated steel expands 10-12 inches per 10 feet)

Thanks captainden. Yes, I read the transcript of the radio communications with Orio Palmer on the 78th floor. Only a wingtip pierced that floor. Imagine what it was like up on the 81st floor where the fuselage hit.

JoeCraine, as has been repeatedly explained to you, Prof Astaneh is referring to explosions caused by the plane impacts. Your quotes are correct but your interpretation of them is incorrect. What's the best way to determine what Prof Astaneh really meant? By looking at the context of the quotes and by understanding what he has said and written about the twin tower collapses. If you do that, you find that he has never talked about bombs or the controlled demolition theory.

But since you guys have zero evidence of any demolition, all you can do is mine tiny quotes from people and intentionally misinterpret them. There's ONLY ONE WAY for the WTC's to ALL collapse so neatly:
A Controlled Demolition.
It's not speculation - it's fact.
I'd say "try it" but it's impossible - all models - all computer models - all simulations - a Building TOPPLES - unless EVERY INTERNAL BRACE HAS BEEN CUT.
No C4 on planes - no big bombs - LOTS OF LITTLE THERMITE CUTTING CHARGES.

Another explosives expert. When the plane hit it severed 46-50 steel columns on that side. Exactly how did the "Demo" team know which OUTER wall columns to wire to complete the collapse since the pilot didn't know where the plane would hit in the first place? More nonsense. Idiot

Capt - not at all:
No outer columns needed to be wired - although they obviously were - it's the INNER core which would have to be uniformly wired up REGARDLESS of the direction or depth of the plane impact zones.
The collapse only occurred once the "button was pushed" - but after a lot of prior cutting of all the minor's.
So the SAME wiring diagram would be needed for ANY configuration of crash - the Planes are RED HERRINGS.

I guess you missed the fact that the inner core was only drywall and studs. Even if it was concrete you couldn't do what you claim. In order to get to the interior structural elements you would have to go through the ceiling. You have no evidence of this nonsense. Are the people who died on those planes "Red Herrings Too" Dope.

The core was not SOLID steel. The fires heated the steel unevenly and it failed. Dopes like you think steel has to melt to fail. The fire was 1000 deg easy. Thats plenty hot enough for steel to fail. Coupled with the damage from the planes it is evident. Thermite? um yeah. Read Brannigan...ASS

Motive: We need to "secure" Iraq and ensure the US$ remains the fiat petrodollar.
Need to inflame the US public to war.
Planes - stoolies flying or remote - no passengers - none who show up in SSID death registry.
Pre-rigged WTC1, 2, 7 (~8 months in advance).
Periodic detonations of minor trusses and columns, and major det's of core from top to bottom.
Controlled demo on queue - minimizes loss of life because the towers would naturally topple sideways.

Niggle, who says the collapse is physically impossible? Anyone with any engineering credentials? Remember, there are no demolition experts who say the twin towers came down in controlled demolitions. You've posted names of people you CLAIMED supported the CD theory, but it turned out they never said anything to support CD.
