Man this game is so cool and it's almost as good as MGS1 for the PS1 console. MGS: The Twin Snakes isn't too bad though. I already have this game for my Nintendo GameCube. It's already backwards compatible now on my Wii console and it's even one of my most GameCube games so far too. This game rocks! Whenever I play this game, it almost feels like I'm playing both MGS1 and MGS2 at the same time too. MGS: The Twin Snakes shares the same graphics as MGS2 does and it looks more like a PS2 game too.

The dialog seems a bit rushed... The dialog is so much better in the original Playstation version and Ocelot dropping his gun was too cheesy for that character, this something the young Ocelot from Snake Eater would do not the old Ocelot. Ocelot is a character to be taken seriously, he is meant to be enigmatic and confident. I've seen other scenes from this version too, I'm not impressed with what Silicon Knights did. Everything is OVER DONE and over-the-top.

Ocelot dropped his gun because he is a right handed shooter, losing his shooting hand he's forced to use his left hand which I'm sure he's not as good with. I'm pretty sure that's why he dropped his gun, not for comedic purposes.

In the canonical sense, Ocelot was proficient in shooting with both hands. In MGS3 his younger self was portrayed utilizing a dual wielding style. I get fact that perhaps he got used to using one hand and had to re-adjust but I just don't agree with this sentiment considering he is a very serious character, to me it just doesn't fit. It's not the only time MGS: Twin Snakes has had "additional" comedy added to the cut-scenes. It's just my opinion, as a fanboy ;)
