  • Really love this song... Its Patea MAori CLub - Haere mai... If possible, may I have the lyrics... Pls??? Thank you much!

  • Poi E is my 2nd favourite song. This I believe, is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. The tune has such a haunting quality to it that it gives me goosebumps. And the karanga (is that right ?) at the beginning is so beautiful it always makes me cry. They all just have the most stunning voices.

  • @thiskiwigal

Your completely right. Greetings from Europe.

And what is your 1th favorite song?

  • @Volker410 This one Haere Mai is my favorite Maori song. I think it's one of the most beautiful ever written. Different songs for different times though eh ? There is a Christian song Great is Thy Faithfulness which is one of my favorite and Then I met The Master. I also love Country music and Bluegrass and Jazz. . Ella Fitzgerald was hard to beat and Billie Halliday. What can I say -I have very catholic tastes in music ie very widely differing types. Love all Polynesian music though.

  • @thiskiwigal

Yes, Haere Mai is one of the most beautiful folklore songs.

Are there chords for the song?

Sometime I think that a lot music from the Polynesian, Maori ... area is absolutely timeless, very perfect in the basics and not typical folklore.

My favor music is since more that one year Maori and Polynesian ...

Before it was pop and some country stiles.
