common knowledge among cs mappers is that you can shoot trough 1 solid/object (to a certain extent) , but you can't shoot trough 2 separate solids that have at least 1 unit space between them .

so ppl don't try to shoot trough 2 crates / walls cause its useless

u are half right, the only weapon in CS able to go through 2 walls is AWP, any other weapon that CAN wal bang its only 1 wall, and others that are 9 mm dont wallbang even if u make a think wall in a hammer map

hmm i made a 3 unit thick wall .. and it was bulletproof even for awp .. but if your wall is transparent then you can shoot through 2, i don't know why its like that ..

but i also think that this could have been fixed by valve ( really not up to date with things like this )

well investigate alit more, 3 walls ? awp goes 2 only, thats not about CS its about HALF LIFE ENGINE physics and it has not been fixed ,if it would then in ur steam it would update every half life engine game u have and by the latest updates in 2009 apart from protocol 47 to 48 and fix alot of bugs in official maps they didnt do anything else, well deactivating auto scripts as well, but u r wrong

Also hacks can and do send false packets so they could modify the packet to send certain data to the server saying player A is using weapon and hitting player B from x, y location, although I've yet to see any cheat do that for any game (Probably because most of hit damage is server sided?)

well you are right about what a hack can do but as CS 16 an old game is not as good configurated as a game like call of duty or the same cs source about the internet configuration the engine has in the case of cs 16 hacks cant send false packets to the server as it has to change the damage of the weapon, and if you add compatibility with non steam clients, which, there are, alot of versions for it(1.6)that have differnets configuration, exception of steam what you said isnt possible in this case
