CHERUBS has never spent a dime of donations to fight the trademark - our lawyers were all pro bono.
No one should own awareness. The courts agreed.
No one at CHERUBS profits. It is a charity. To suggest Dawn is profiting off of her son's death and illness is absurd and insulting, given the amount of time and money she's donated in the past 15 years to help CDH families.
Please learn more about the case. CHERUBS fought to help families like yours.
How do you OWN a birth defect? Why do people drill this in their child's heads? Even if this lady has a trademark you can still get the word out to people. It's all about money because as a non for profit I bet both women are making money due to their child's illness / birth defect. Sad on both ends if you ask me. I donated to the cherubs but I think that they should realize that if it is copyrighted then move on and find a different slogan. The donated money should not be spent for court costs
I weep in pride for these brave, beautiful children and the families that love them! My daughter owns Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Awareness and no one can take that away from her.
Amazing!!! Absolutely amazing video!!! Thank you so much for making our voices heard! We're so proud of our little fighter Josie (photo @ 6:15) and all of the other families affected by CDH.
Dawn - Thank you for all your hard work that has gone into this video. I will work on our video to you with the kids this weekend. Sorry we are late. Love Freedom Green - the proud mommy of a CDH baby girl Kylee who will forever be in our hearts. My love and prayers go out to all CDH families.
