I have a thought on Michael's song Childhood. I believe he was reaching out to the thousands of people, maybe millions of us that had a rather disfunctional childhood, or we suffered from neglect because of "too busy" parents. He was attempting to get us all to think over what went down in our past so we could deal with it and put it in its proper place, because for the most part, an unresearched childhood makes for a dysfunctional adult.

When I first heard this song , which was after he died , I cried , I wasnt a fan yet , but my heart broke in 1000000 peaces. I just realized how bad the people treated him and how desperaly asked first to love him and then judge him . And they said michael jacksoN, the day later they took me out and bought me a mj cd (which i still have) and told me he made this music, i fell inlove and always asked for a new cd when we went to the store, but one day when we were at walmart i said "lets look for some old michael jackson cassets" and my parents told me "DONT SAY THAT OUTLOUD" I questioned and they told me he touched boyS....

When I first heard this song , which was after he died , I cried , I wasnt a fan yet , but my heart broke in 1000000 peaces. I just realized how bad the people treated him and how desperaly asked first to love him and then judge him . By the way I think the person who was with him in the recording of the video ( his former wife Lisa Marie) was one of the people who truly loved him and cared for him , one applause for Lisa Marie Presley :D

I just don't get it. He is singing a song entitled "Childhood" how was he supposed to look, like a 90 year old?! He's portraying the child that lives inside of him. I watched this video muted because it's just too painful to watch let alone hear. No, Michael love I haven't seen your childhood, but God has it for you to enjoy now. @fruitygal4 please..don't listen to stupid people. The point of this video was to convey a message, he's trying to make the audience feel his emotions. Every one of his videos tells a story. He was a master at that. His lyrics are even more powerful. People will never understand his upbringing. Obviously it was very hard for him and he missed out on alot of the basic things that we take for granted.

We are often mocked and called MJ Nuts! Well, everybody loves a nut, right? Mike was not a nut, nor was he Wacko Jacko, as the media dubbed him. He was a deep, sensitive, soulful human being! He was easily hurt when they called him names, just like anyone would be. I, for one, have loved this soul from the time I first saw him at 7 years of age, performing his great big heart out! Am sorry to say this and I don't mean to make you all feel bad. But its the most wonderful feeling to be an MJ fan all my life. My parents played his music and I took over at around 10 years old. LOve him so much. You see his fans know that he's the most beautiful person. We knew of his innocence and supported him.
Its not too late to be MJ fans. You guys see him now for what and who he really is, a genius, a prodigy. Loving, caring and so much more.

sandy you were lucky coz of your parents, i only met the first die-hard mj fan 10 years ago. speechless was the song we used to 'sing' together but still i was 'only' a fan, not a die-hard one.i never believed anything they said about him.the press wrote only negative things and if you werent digging u couldnt know what a beautiful person he was.and there wasnt too much about him written genarally last years.i think all the mj fans after he died became die-hard fans cos they looked for more.

When I was 8 my parents were watching something about michael jackson on tv, I aksed who is that? And they said michael jacksoN, the day later they took me out and bought me a mj cd (which i still have) and told me he made this music, i fell inlove and always asked for a new cd when we went to the store, but one day when we were at walmart i said "lets look for some old michael jackson cassets" and my parents told me "DONT SAY THAT OUTLOUD" I questioned and they told me he touched boyS....

I'll tell you why I wasn't a big fan of his when he was alive, it's because the media only wrote untrue stories about him. I'm not saying that I ever believed any of it, cause I didn't, I just never bothered to find out more about him. Now, after he died, TV has been sending more stuff about him and all the magazines write more. So I got curious about Michael, and i started searching for him on youtube, and i realised who he was:)
