  • and those that are gone under inspection could be certificated and approved that would be much better for an average consumer than buying some shit from China. Those that would not be gone under certification would instantly drop in value, since consumers would be skeptical to buy from someone who hides information about the content you consume, wear, sniff or snort (lol) and soon be out of business or would have to go under thorough inspection. They created United Nations after WWII...

  • I liked documentary so much!!! The only thing that I didn't like was that there was no real solution proposed. If the government and public can't control an environmental impact from corporations and big industries why there could be not created a global unbiased third party organization that would monitor, control and report the results of their research to the public. It's nice that cigarettes or drugs have a warning information, why could it not be done on each product being made

  • @FotoKadr Yeah but that's a hugely bureaucratic undertaking that I don't think many of the population would support. The main problem is that we are underinformed. If we knew about some of the ways big corporations evade the law, we would voice it more. But honestly, with the media being a huge corporation itself, those voices are lost in the wind.

  • @happymand I can't disagree with you, you are right, it's just after watching the video you would think that there is no way out, but there is, it's just as you said "many of the population would not support", then it's not that important for society now when the rates of getting cancer is only 1 per every 3 person. Probably, when our kids or their kids would start develop a third eye, degenerative ovaries, blindness or similar, would the society understand the problem and head to the action

  • Good bar the constant branding at the end of each clip by Mark Achbar HAHA!!

  • I have never owned a pair of Nikes. But what assurance do I get that the shoes I do buy aren't made under the same schemes. Do I go barefoot?

  • should we just resort to subsistence economy? if only we knew how to do things for ourselves rather than rely on corporations to make things for us, making our only effort to drive to the store and reach for money from our pocket. the problem is the varied distribution of the geography of our soil and access to certain resources. each region's specialization calls for trade, hopefully not tempting to repeat the greedy cycle of profit.

  • im sure the plug at the end of each segment didnt help viewer retention , half way through this thing it get really annoying.

  • Produced by Bart Simpson? WTF?

  • what can I do to change the world we live in for better?

  • @trushels91 if you cannot do anything directly, personally, right now? then getting the ideas to other people is a good start. spread the word, show people the videos. there are others out there too.

  • Please Read Florian Wettstein for information of how Multi- Nationals got this power, and how we {Reagan, Thatcher} allowed the de-politicization of economics. WE WILL CHANGE THIS IN OUR LIFETIME. ITS HARD NOT TO BUY THE CHEAP NIKE's and RESIST USING OIL, but HUMAN LIFE IS WORTH IT. CAPITALISM IS NOT SUSTAINABLE FOR THE US, OR FOR THE WORLD. DON'T LISTEN TO FEAR, READ SCHOLARSHIP (like Florian Wettstein), HAVE FAITH IN EDUCATION, DONT LET ANYONE STOP YOU FROM ASKING QUESTIONS

  • I'm glad Milton Friedman was in this movie, it makes it more clearly a government problem than a capitalism problem. RIP

  • @htiberian What? How did you get this from the movie?

  • @happymand The movie explains that corporations are legal entities, not completely private. They owe their psychopathy to a government that encourages them to behave that way.

  • @htiberian I suppose so but governments still have laws that the corporations must follow. You forget about the criteria that psychopaths purposefully break laws without thinking of the consequence. It is not an effect of government that corporations purposefully break laws to make money.

  • @happymand Yes, but the government allows them to exist. Government gives them unatural protection with which otherwise they could not get away with the many crimes they commit. Remember the Supreme court grants them the legal status of "personhood".

  • @htiberian Yeah I mean it is government who grant these powers, but it is definitely a problem resulting from extreme capitalism, giving too much powers to big business.

  • @happymand I don't think they are that powerful at all without government as their bodygaurd. They just think they can get away with more.

  • @clementckw

to what is truely important, continued and sustainable existence of humankind and the Earth with all of its inhabitants.

  • @clementckw

because they want a comfortable lifestyle that can only be provided by the money they earn from the corporations. the whole system based on money, catalysed by technological advancement and globalisation, creates a cycle that will only leads up to where it is now. a complete overhaul, which is a massive massive ideal is the only thing that can change it for the better, for people to divert their attention away from money which is the means for survival,

  • its not about the problem of corporations, its the problem of the whole money model. the whole system needs to be changed because the carrot that's dangling in our current model is still money and you cannot fault the donkey for wanting more carrots now can you? its a natural course of events that leads up to corporations as long as our system is based on money. even after all thats said and done, people in developed countries will still study and aim towards working in a corporation because

  • In an unregulated Capitalist economy, there's no ethics, no morals, just profit.

  • I trust the people's capacity for reflection, rage, and rebellion.

  • Gran trabajo, que buen documental...... espero que la causa trascienda y llegue lejos, apoyos desde Colombia!

  • it's kind of a(n ironic) bummer that you have to buy the DVD in order to hear about these strategies for change...were I not broke I would definitely buy it or make a contribution...I could get a job...but I'll probably have to work for a corporation...

  • Well... What would you expect from a movie of which one of the producers is Bart Simpson.

Just kidding. Great movie. The producer's name is just an interesting surprise. I think Bart Simpson has come a long way since his years at Springfield. Congratulations.

  • You and I and dominoes.

  • The command nexus

  • In order to win a game, you have to participate in it and play by its rules. Become rich and powerful and then strike. No one will expect it coming from their own kind, so to say. Master the game, then change it to your needs/beliefs.

  • @quaxBK exactly what i thought

  • @quaxBK Easier said than done I'm afraid. I'd say it's all about reaching the critical mass.

  • Thank you so much for making this available for free! The info here was a huge step in the right direction for me.

  • The only sustainable solution consists of three words:

    Resource Based Economy

  • @PDzero Hail to that. you are rite. The Venus Project...

  • Can people discuss business interests all over the world that some may consider taboo, without discharge from employment or being blackballed/blacklisted?

  • Forget movements like Zeitguist, the only thing required is for people to stop buying corporate products. You don't have to join anything to do that, just use the internet to find out which corporations and products to avoid or to check what you are currently buying and find substitutes or give those products up even!

  • @intermender A fact is that It will never happen. People buy even when they already know the consequences. It is difficult to teach with mind sets established with respect to their values and influence from birth to death. Fear is possibly why few people like machbar and others dare to try to get them involved. I write letters.

  • Government won't do anything, the only way is for each person to accept responsiblity for not supporting corporations and their products. But for many people that would be sacrifice. Imagine your obnoxious neighbour showing off his flash car that cost the same as your banger but he got his from GM. Most people would rather go GM than suffer that scenario. But places like India with dodgy government will rise and do the exact thing: the corporations will just start or move there.

  • WTF “Produced by MARK ACHBAR and BART SIMPSON“??

  • 92,860 people made it till here.

  • Fighting corporations is just doing patch job on the system.

Join The Zeitgeist Movement to upgrade the whole system.

Watch "ZEITGEIST: MOVING FORWARD | OFFICIAL RELEASE | 2011"

  • It may be only 100,000 views of this part, as after the first one, people have simply watched the full version also available on YouTube .

  • So, from the initial 700,000 some views on the first part of this video, we end with under 100,000.

  • i'm getting of my chair and doing something, who's with me!

  • @x1Brooklyn1x we are the hope we are the rope

  • was that a film by mike ackbar by any chance lol

  • All these movies tell us to do something, show us a problem... But dont give us any viable solution, or tell us specifically what that "something" is that we need to do....

  • @Balgore8

Watch the movie Zeitgeist Addendum & Zeitgeist Moving forward.

    join the Zeitgeist movement

    thezeitgeistmovement(.)com

Find out the solution for our current society

    thevenusproject(.)com

  • @geniusjas87 I have watched both, and joined the 'movement'. Nothing is changing, and the protests dont accomplish anything, unfortunately.

  • @Balgore8 We have a local restaurant and caffe here, which has a little note in big letters pasted on the wall, which says "Say NO to Starbucks". I initially thought it funny, but now I think it is a big first step in the direction this documentary is suggesting. Use local products and services, whenever possible (which unfortunately, is not a lot of the time).

  • All these movies tell us to do something, show us a problem... But dont give us any viable solution, or tell us specifically what that "something" is that we need to do....

  • God I think I love that Indian woman. No man has no power over another man unless by submission. And I ain't submitting to anybody I'd rather die!

  • what is the name of the song at the end credits?

  • It's all about becoming a smarter consumer. One source I'd like to share is w w w. eat wild. c o m / index. h t m l

You can find local farms to buy free range meat in bulk. (get a deep freezer for this) I've done this for years and once you do it you will never think of buying factory farmed meat in the grocery ever again. So not only are you supporting sustainability and ethics, but it taste darn good too. You can also find sources for eggs and produce there as well.

  • Produced by Bart Simpson

  • This film was great BUT:

What happens when the American corporation restrict themselves, and the Chinese ones take the lead?

You think the US has a miserable record of human rights? Take a look at China

Unlike what this film seemed to be suggesting, there ARE other countries on this planet other than the US...

  • @parklinkin52 corporations are not patriotic, they don't take sides. It's not the Chinese corporations that will take the lead, it is the global corporations.

  • Thank you for sharing this thought-provoking documentary.

  • change will begin in yourself....your social responsibility will follow

  • Love Michael Moore!!!

  • nice serie we have to unite the new ZEITGEIST MOVIE 2011 can provide a resourced based economy

  • If you want to DO something, look into the Transition Town Movement :)

  • ZEITGEIST !!

  • Public ownership isn't always the way to go. Look at the Post Office it's owned by the government and it sucks in comparison to the UPS or FedEx.

  • @FatherTime89 It's not about which is better, public versus private ownership - it's about accountability, first and foremost. Be that from private businesses AND from government.

  • WTF is this film suggesting exactly we change? That Indian women was so very vague. Some of this film sounds like socialism.

  • @FatherTime89

I agree, but I think it is suggesting we can improve the system that already exists to something less destructive and selfish.

My problem with this film is that it almost implied the US is the only country on the planet. What happens when the US corporations change and the chinese ones take over? You think the US has a bad record of human rights, go take a look at China...

  • Thanks for uploading the film. Happy new year.

  • Large corperations are evil and most governments ........ all I can say is PRAY !! Jesus is comming! The holy bible is true and accurate. The dead sea scrolls say so.

  • @BEreadyJESUSiscoming You're so naive.

  • @BEreadyJESUSiscoming are you really that delusional ? it's all a myth !

  • @BEreadyJESUSiscoming

The dead sea scrolls were written by humans. All accounts of religious or supernatural events were told by humans. Assuming that religious texts are accurate is the same thing as saying that humans cannot possibly be erroneous in their beliefs and perceptions, and never lie or withhold information for personal gain.

That's also what most people assume of their governments and corporations today. We have seen this; we are going to do this; it's for your best. Magic words.

  • RIP to Zinn and Friedman.Naomi Klein; althogh sincere is no academic. Shock Doctrine is garbage compared to this. She is the weak link in this otherwise fantastic poduction. Chomsky and Zinn are on different levels than hacks like Klein, and it dissapointed me to see her included in the space of true intellectuals. I am not a liberal, but I respect the Giant intellectuals of the left. Klein is the leftist Sara Palin (ok not quite, lol).

  • nuktwin1960 = Why is he sick? The truth is that why? The sun is expanding. It will grow and burn up Mercury, Venus and the Earth before it turns into a dwarf star of bright white light

  • In just a few billion years, the Earth will be destroyed anyway because of the sun. And humans can not do anything about it. So relax, enjoy yourself and do not waste your time planning "a better society for the future".

  • @WarmongerWW3 or we can get our ass off the couch and figure out a way to inhabitate other planets.

  • @anmo0926 This requires many wars to encourage technological development.

  • Hundreds of years from now, if humanity survives (very sad that i have to say "if"), the people will look back at this time and say, We are the ones who have the power to stop this outrageous money-grab by corperations, we are the ones who have the ability to make a difference and create, maintain, and inforce corperate responcibilities. A change is needed! The Earth can not sustain itself with our current demand for products that can not be readily reproduced. Great documentary, great message.

  • Tell you what, it demonstrates the power of corporate that I never heard of this film.

  • 2:54 .... Produced by Bart Simpson?

    Ironic, really.

  • What are some small steps that we can start taking as individuals? I wish there was a "solution" segment.

  • @TDP788

Start with whatever is easiest for you.

For me, I'd start with consumption. The winter holiday is around the corner, start purchasing fair trade products for gifts.

  • Look at all you hypocrites, using the Microsoft Corporation to talk bad things about the Corporations. So what if people die because of corporations? People die all the time for several reasons anyway.

Fascism is the inevitable and supreme stage of capitalism and I like it.

  • @WarmongerWW3 Yup, you proved it... you're a sick fuck.

  • Why 23?! Don't spook me out!!

  • International corp should not exist. The united nations should not exist. Any form of world wide concentrated power should never exist. What we do need is strong nations on the right paths that can lead by example how to be good places to live and not countries like USA is now . Countrys the respect there own people and other countrys people. Countries that respect personal property, personal liberty, and fact that government needs to make themselfs disappear, that would be success.

  • How to correct a democracy once it has gotten out of control: watch?v=BBezaI0bnAQ&

  • Music, please? I tried searching for it everywhere, but it isn't to be found. Not on the official soundtrack, not on the web-nowhere.

  • @DubaiSpur did you find the music in this part? I'm looknig for it too. As you said it's not on the official soundtrack.

  • @Chinuru200k No unfortunately. I still get goosebumps listening to it. I might post this video on Facebook and ask if anyone knows...

  • @Chinuru200k There's a smartphone application called Shazam that can listen to music and figure out the name of the music track.

  • @MrAgmoore Does Shazam work for this? Possibly too much other sounds for it to work right. I can't try because my phone is dumb. ;-)

It could be one of the tracks on the movies IMDb page (not the same as the downloadable soundtrack), but I haven't been able to find them all to compare.

  • @Chinuru200k A few years ago, I downloaded the screenplay or some kind of official document and went through every single track listed, the only group that sounded like they might have made the track was a band called "Uzume Taiko" I friended them on Facebook and asked if they made the track. They never replied. I asked a Computer Science student to Shazam the track, she didn't get back to me yet. I might try and download the software to my Blackberry and see if I can get a match.

  • @Chinuru200k . My Comp Sci friend says, "I tried Shazam and SoundHound, but neither of them were able to find the song. Either the voice over the music is screwing it up, or the song is so obscure it's not able to find it."

  • Hey Machbar I really enjoyed your movie. I go to Babson and one of my teachers suggested I check it out. It was everything Michael Moores 'Capitalism' could have been... I see your having some problems raising money. Have you considered trying to get some corporate sponsorship? Oh wait that wouldnt work would it lol.

Anyways, keep up the good work.

  • The market isn't going to solve the problem. Corporations today have become so big that you barely have the choice to not be buying from them. I believe the problem is the monetary system itself since it is money that gives you power. Some corporations have become so rich they have more power than most countries! Not that governments will rise up against these companies or must I remind you how hard it is to find a politician that can't be bribed! I say, join the thezeitgeistmovement!

  • @iBelgium Money doesn't give you power. Money is a store of value subject to whoever regulates its supply: only governments do this b/c capitalists need an arbitrator. Real value is in resources: natural resources, land & physical capital (machines). Labor still controls all 3. The insurmountable task is organizing the minds of those billions who rent their bodies to the microscopic clique of Capitalists for survival. With proper coordination, their global grasp could fail in months.

  • @iBelgium Bien vrai. Money is the one thing that connects us all, everywhere, no matter the country. And it connects us as being slaves of the banks, which create interest and therefore debt and inflation, which nullifies the value of money. So money is debt, trust can't be sold and resources can be shared to satiety. We need to eliminate our dependance on money.

  • @iBelgium the monetary system over the western world is in hands of independent financial institutions which are not accountable to government and can completely act independently (Fed Reserve in USA is a private bank, European Central Bank is an independent organisation (read: a private bank) both these have links to IMF and the World Bank, which try to prey on the weaker countries and forcing them after throwing them some money to accept lower pays for workers, more privatisation...

  • @iBelgium Consider that the newest fighter plane designed and manufactured for the US military has a budget more than my country's GDP. I'm Australian. That money isn't going into the USA's coffers. It's going into private industry. Then again, where is the line between government and business today?

  • @iBelgium The line between government and business has well and truly dissolved or politicians are so clueless that corporations run circles around them. Case in point, Net neutrality recently being supposedly 'upheld' in the USA but with the compromise that wireless networks be excluded due to technical limitations However, the corporations didn't lose. They won. The future is wireless, and now, the corporations have the legal basis for total control of the Net when that future arrives.

  • @iBelgium What will become of activism online such as this and, as you mentioned, the Zeitgeist Movement, when the Net, for all intents and purposes, becomes moderated and gated, bounded by corporate interest? It's the logical outcome of a system designed for the amoral pursuit of wealth and control. The moment is likely, when the greatest weapon we have, the Internet, no longer functions in our favour due to the creep of legislation, and the capture of all industry which provides access to it.

  • @UberNoodleX Thats when another method or direct action will arise That would be the ultimate provocation to some

  • @iBelgium

As noble as it might be, the Zeitgeist Movement is terrible and the people behind it are just as corrupt as corporate CEO's.

  • @alexanderandrewflood Interesting, in what way are the Z-movement corrupt?

  • Where do I sign up to combat corporate greed?

  • @MikeIronweaver56 thezeitgeistmovememt . com

  • @MikeIronweaver56 you just did. information is free, spread it around

  • That indian woman is immense. Stick it to the man! yeah!

  • The credits said this movie was produced by "BART SIMPSON"!

  • Corporations are NOT EQUAL to capitalism!

  • to wbaltzey:

As long as we know the problem with the law, we can figure out how to help ourselves. They can't tell us how to think or what to do, if we do some research and educate ourselves we can figure out the steps to abolish the law. We are not incompetant, we just have to feel indignant enough. Most people don't care about important issues until their own space gets invaded. The ones that care about others are already standing up.

  • Mike Myers is a visionary.

  • A great film, but I now have an unhealthy hatred towards Mark Achbar.

Why does he have to have his little speech about the film every 2 segments? It got so bloody annoying :P

  • wow that is alot to swallow

what do we do and how do we make the first step

  • Dogs bark, but the caravan rolls on.

  • COMUNISM,FASCISM,SOCIALISM,CAPITALISM----ALL THE SAME!!!!!!!!

THEY ALL WANT TO CONTROL...WEITHER ITS ONE WAY OR ANOTHER,THE GOAL IS THE SAME....SO GET FREE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrPutokontact Who are "they", Captain Paranoia?

  • @elysium735

the people who represent those parties i spoke..and the ones who finance them ,and the ones who suport them....understood general dumb ass?

  • @MrPutokontact Do they have names Admiral Assclown? Also, CAPS don't make you louder.

  • @elysium735

Only Idiots Like You Are Worried With CAPS...lol

Go do your research if you so smart, maybe you can step up another degree in your ignorance Ways

I Aint Gonna spend My Latin Trying to Explain Whats Plain To See.....

    (Got Better things 2 Do)

  • @MrPutokontact What the fuck?

"I Aint Gonna spend My Latin Trying to Explain Whats Plain To See....."

The fuck? Anarchists are fucking insane.

  • India built a fully-functional laptop that runs Windows 7, for $35. $35!

  • Corporations made billions of WW2, a war that killed 60 million people. American corporations financed both Hitler and Stalin for the sake of profit.

  • Hahahaha, "Big Picture Media Corporation", eh?

  • This is a communist manifesto placed in video form. All of marx's planks to transform a scociety are present. And we all know that weather it be China, the USSR, North Korea, Cuba, Nationalist Socialist (Nazi) Germany, etc, it doesent work. Thoes who want liberty are re-educated or eradicated. This film is an admission that we are not entitled to life, liberty, property, or the pursuit of happiness. In thier view, the needs of the collective outweigh the principles of liberty shared by all.

  • What the fuck has Marx to do with the Nationalsocialists?

  • @MoaiMaea I was naming the result of socialism in the most powerful countries it was tried. Marx speaks of the transformation from capitalism to socialism. These countires are the result of socialism. The difference between normal socialism and national socialism is that one attempts it in their country in accordance to their own values and the other believes in a world wide revolution. Hence, "Workers of the world unite".

  • @CWSmith1982 "the difference between national socialism and normal socialism is that one attempts it in their own country to their own values and the other believes in a global revolution." WOW - that is so completely ass backwards I really don't know where to begin. You obviously haven't read much about 20th century history. You clearly need to spend some more time on these definitions. Have you even bothered reading The Communist Manifesto you spend so much time explaining to others??

  • @CWSmith1982 Socialism and communism are not the same thing. Fascism and state capitalism are not the same thing. You do understand that Marx died 30 years before the Russian revolution happened right? And you do understand that Stalin had almost nothing to do with the Russian revolution and rose to power after, right? These are important if you're going to pontificate to people about what National Socialism meant in Nazi Germany. Seeing as how you weren't there and stuff..

  • @CWSmith1982 You also realize there was no communist revolution in Germany, right? Hitler didn't take power through any process even vaguely related to popular uprising.. you do get that right? Bear in mind I'm not defending Communism or any other out dated "ism".. I'm just appalled by your lack of understanding of 20th Century history followed by your arrogant claim to have historical facts on your side..

  • @yourmanwatson My postings have made you so upset that you expect me to monopolize the comment section by responding to your massive hissyfit? Get real! I have a life.

  • @CWSmith1982 nope. Just had to point out some major flaws in your statement.. I don't care of you reply at all..

  • @CWSmith1982 You have a very skewed view of life, I hope you grow to understand your mistakes

  • @TheNemesiah No need. I have the facts of history on my side.

  • @CWSmith1982 Buddy - I could spend 5 minutes on google making you look like an idiot. There are no respected interpretations of historical facts that support your total misunderstanding of the difference between the fascism of Hitler and the kind of state capitalism that places lie China and the USSR developed into. You might get garbage like that from an Alex Jones movie ..but then he is a walking joke so..

  • @yourmanwatson Yes. Every collectivist country in the world that were the envy of every socialist organization in america has not only failed, but killed hundreds of millions as a result. Every time I bring up the facts I get the same answer. "They didn't do it right so lets hand all power to the state so they can FORCE us to be free and show us how its done". As soon as people see that liberty cannot be granted by a government they will see the obvious failure that is collectivism.

  • @CWSmith1982 Unfortunately someone needs to step in and show business people how to make a responsible decision, cause they don't know how at this point. I don't know if "government" is the best solution. But the idea that people vote with their dollars is a joke dreamed up by the PR industry.. So clearly we need a real way of including people in the decisions that effect their lives, it's only fair. Right now a tiny % of the world make all the big decisions and 2/3 of the world pays the price..

  • the hispanic dude didnt mention 'rage' but indignation... not very well translated, changing his words quite a bit.

  • @billgate8 the difference between "rage" and indignation in the context of what he's saying is pretty minimal..

  • @billgate8 I'm sorry, but what do you think indignation is?

  • @brianhxc listen here, what do u think translations are? and indignation to me is the unsatisfaction with the current situation and knowingly not being able to change it. Hence do u fking know what translating correctly is and what rage means? Well if you cant tell the difference between rage and indignation and be able to tell I'm pointing out a translating mistake since I speak spanish, well then that's your problem.

  • @billgate8 Well I'm sorry that you believe you can just sit here and make up your own definitions while looking past the obvious correlation. Indignation is defined as being angry and annoyed by a situation deemed unfair. What causes rage? Oh anger...

The whole reason I even said anything was because you are trying to peg them as totally distorting the translation for their own personal gains... which they obviously haven't. We'll agree to disagree, but the fact remains, it doesn't matter.

  • @billgate8 change comes slowly, at first, then snowballs into revolutions of the kind we've recently seen in Tunisia and Egypt. Small communities as well as whole countries are beginning to see the corporate stranglehold on all of us that lie to us about how they boost the economy for all when, the real truth is, the corporation's economy is the only beneficiary!

  • @davidsolo agree with the comments about the corporations, but even though these snowballs do happen, unfortunetely they hit stone walls made by capitalism. No matter how much democracy is fought for, as long as some one with ludicrous amounts of money can affect the world they will, and only for their benefit. These snowballs need help to break the walls of capitalism built by corporations o/

  • Boohoo, one word in the whole interview altered to a kind of synonym. It’s not like this changes his messages.

  • Time for more people to stop ignoring the corporate truth & burst the corporate bubble & stand for real peace & freedom instead of being led by media & government propaganda who specialize in targeting the young & poor societies.

Pray that people start waking up to the truth which is around us daily as the world is shaping up for elite standards of living & rule, history repeats itself only if we let it we can't afford to look back & say "if only we had acted then'', share the truth with others

  • SUPPORT THE VENUS PROJECT! That is all...

  • @AquaticApe1 I don't understand how the Venus project is supposed to work, for instance, I knew a guy who shared a house with 4 other guys, no one would cut the grass, no one would take out the trash. Besides didn't we try the Venus project idea in the 1960s with the hippie movement. Hippies didn't work because everyone wanted to mooch, nothing got done.

  • I live in Frankfurt, Germany. When I lived in Dallas, I went to Wal Mart a couple times. Never went back. Reasons? Everything was made in China. I noticed how they treated the employees. So I went to Wal Mart here in Frankfurt. I inspected the merchandise. Made in China. 6 months later I read that the Germans wanterd the union. Walt Mart said no. The German law said yes. In les than 45 days. Wal Mart packed up and left. I thank God fr that.

  • I am only one but I am one.

I cannot do everything, but I can do something:

And what I should do and can do,

    by the grace of God,

    I will do.

  • @Okridiculous1

Well, go and buy local products, even if they are more expensive.

Go by bike, or walk whenever possible.

    Cook yourself.

Install solar power, or wind or whatever your area provides.

And God will be with you.

  • dudes that was a great film about corporations

I always thouht that way too

this world is not going to somewhere good anyhow

I would like to cong M. Achbar by the way achbar means "grate" ı guess thats a

great last for a grate guy like him.

I am buying all the dvds and stuff

  • The reason Michael Moore can get away with producing anti-corporate films is because they do not offer any solutions that truly threaten corporate power. Contrary to what Moore may think, corporations are not stupid enough to give you a rope with which to hang them. If he produced films advocating people to pressure Congress to pass a Constitutional Amendment to abolish "Corporate Personhood" and ban corporations from politics, he would face far worse opposition.

  • @wbaltzley... I agree in part with you, history has show us that those who do present solutions or start a movement that will create a change usually end up dead. Having said that, I think in part Moore is correct with his analogy, remember nothing is perfect and nothing is forever, those in power are starting to make mistakes and those mistakes as Moore put it are flaws in the system that we must recognize and exploit, peace

  • @wbaltzley abolish the 14th amendment period. second class citizens which have no rights that 14th amendment created. It also created that a person is a corporationa and humans are corporations. The usa is a federal corporation only for profit. tilte 28 section 3002.

  • @wbaltzley I support abolshing limited liability but a more precise answer would be that Moore's MEANS of solving the problem of corporations, that being socialism actually helps corporations. Remember, corporations can do all that they do because of their concentrated interests in government. Large corps ARE the government. Socialism is delegating the individual man's power to the state and the state is sold to corps so we LOSE!

  • @wbaltzley

I copied your comment about MM not offering any solutions and corporate personhood into my facebook page when I linked this clip and this was the response...

Michael Moore has come out and said, let us "abolish Corporate Personhood"... and he is not the only one.

    PART 2 OF 3

Since corps were given this status under the 14 ammendment in the late 1800's over a lawsuit with the R...ailroads here in CA. The court did not actually agree, but the court reporter headlined the decision so that if you only looked at the heading you would think they had. Thus, a precedence was set that took years to uncover. They have the rights of a person, but they do not have to take responsibility for their actions, llike a person.

    TBC...

  • @wbaltzley

PART 3 OF 3 President Obama was very upset with the current courts decision to support corp money as speech. Once again, as if they were "a person". It's a long hard battle. Today on DN the Headlines included news that the courts had decided Corps. were Exempt from Alien Tort Law - which means they can continue to destroy our commons with impunity.

    THANKS FOR READING

  • @koyaanis2403 Thank you for the heads up--when did Michael Moore come out and say "let us abolish Corporate Personhood?" Was it an interview? Documentary? Expose?

    .

If he wants to get vocal on an;y issue--this would be the one.

  • @koyaanis2403 Obama has expressed some frustration at the Supreme Court over the Citizens United decision, but he has not proposed any solutions. I believe this is because he himself benefits from the system of corporate corruption--he received millions of dollars in support from GE and SEIU

  • @wbaltzley it is not him whom is to provide solutions it is us the people that are to provide and aply them if we don't than criticizing him makes u a hypocrite and nothing more!

  • @vreaulamatah To whom are you referring--Obama or Moore?

  • @wbaltzley moore

  • @wbaltzley That is a lightweight reaction. The same as the film. It barely scratches the surface of what is happening. The corporations (one corporation produced this film) will let this film be, just because it is misleading. It tells only half of the story. The makers are to a good degree under the influence of corporate indoctrination. For example the appearance of Milton Friedman, "evil-to-the-bone", shows the level of delusion of the film. Don't be fooled by so-called experts.

  • well that was a good film

i think i'll head down to mcdonalds in my SUV , get a double cheeseburger and throw the garbage in the street

    ahahahha

  • yo dont waste food LOL
