Genestealers are a Tyranid creature that can "copy" another organic creature, like a human, and often an Tyranid incursion begins with a group of genestealers secretly "turns" a major part of the population on a planet and then acts as an beacon for the Tyranid hive fleet. Thats why the Segmentum command and the inqusition would not evacuate the people when there is a Tyranid incursion, and also never when Chaos are present on the planet. There you have it, a geek tale told by a geek, good bye.

there are two thing which coldnt be the empire wont let an single company fight vs the nids they see an invasion fleet months before they arrive the planet and sent much completely regiments to the planet and one or more space marin companys most time the second company of the chapter which is nearest to the planet....

and it wont help the people that the nids died so much cause the death nids are feed for the surrenders of them and for the new hive army

At second because of a Warpstorm the comunication is interrupted and the IG has already lost the most of theire man on the planet so they evacuate the planet and destroy it at the end.

This could be a good history.

The reason why this movie is fantastic is because it shows the real situation of a tyranid invasion and how the imperial guard are in fact very brave.
