  • What program did you use to do this?

  • Awesome! This is great!

    Jo (from Bach's country ;-))

  • That was awesome. I can honestly say I would pay money to see you guys in concert if I had a job.

  • Fantastic! I want to hear the Andes Recorder Melodica.

  • NICE ONE tanx4sharing

  • Awesome!

  • Great ending! Thanks

    REV 18

  • Super!

  • The melodica makes an exxellent high pitch trumpet. And to include a real recorder, does magic. You are genius that defies description. Thank you so much and I do not remember how often I listened to this wonderful Concerto during my time on YouTube. Kindest regards and highest compliments coming from Germany.

  • As a great admirer of Bach, I simply have to say: well done! AM, lutenist

  • Thanks so much for this. I use this recording as a "backup" track, and play along myself with the recorder part at least once a day. Can't wait to do the same with Brandenburg 4-3!

  • It sounds like pirate music. I get this overwhelming mental image of pirates swaggering around the deck of a ship. XD

  • Wonderful musical skills, and amazing precision in syncing all instruments in time with each other!

I'm looking forward to the Vln Cto in E, especially the first movement with its bold, energetic theme.

If you're going to continue with Bach, please consider Br Cto 6. Since it was written for instruments with similar timbres, using all melodicas should work well. (The second movement would be beautiful!)

Thank you for an excellent and lively performance!

  • Outstanding work, as usual! Most extraordinary. By the way, what's your opinion of Musica Antiqua's recording of the Brandenburgh concertos? Just curious.

  • @StevenJeNova They are good, but of course a bit old. A lot has happened in the past 25 years and there's some other great recordings out there as well.

  • @JamesHowardYoung There are, of course. But few with the same vigour.

  • @JamesHowardYoung

Café Zimmermann Ensemble, for example. More or less outstanding!

  • I feel silly using more space only to repeat what everyone's been saying, but this is AWESOME!! Put a huge smile on my face.

  • FANTASTIC!!!

    BRAVOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

  • So nice, lovely and peaceful. Thank you.

    Gerard

    Jo

  • man you are great.

with those tiny instruments you can do a great many things.

    keep em coming please

  • This is tremendous. Thanks so much for posting. What about the Bach Violin Concerto in E? Better yet, what about some of the short canons from the Musical Offering? Those are great pieces, and they probably wouldn't take much time to put together. Love what you're doing! Keep it up!

  • Thanks for the comments. The E Major violin concerto is very soon on my list!

  • cool, funny as well :-)

  • Hey, I've pretty much been hooked on your videos. They're simply amazing. Keep up the good work :D

Also a request....could you consider arranging the finale from Mozart's 41st symphony? It'll probably be quite some work, but it'd probably also sound spectacular :D

  • Amazing job!! Very original and very musical, I enjoyed it very much!

  • I was prepared to laugh my purist butt off. Yet I got chills it was so sweet.

What it is about Bach's music that can be played on anything?

Thankyou thankyou for not adding any reverb. And excellent tempo.

  • Awesome and the most amazing version of my beloved BB.C. #2 (yes, 1st mvm. specially) . I appreciate particularly that you didn't add any reverberation and, thus, the melodic structure does become so extremely pure. Thank you for sharing, CARAMBA! your construction is a musical Jewel - Dunno who often I listened to ur version hitherto!

  • An astounding achievement, in its own unique way :)

  • I can't believe I just stumbled onto this. You are incredible! I aspire to be like you someday.

  • You're ten times more awesome than I can ever hope to be.

  • You're very kind, thanks.

  • I think dear Johann would have approved!

    Excellent! Thanks!
