ASYLUM SEEKERS COST IRELAND €1.275 BILLION - DOES NOT INCLUDE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS OR CRIME OR COSTS FROM OTHER TYPES OF IMMIGRANTS.
The Reception and Integration Agency (RIA) heard that the total amount spent by Government on asylum seekers in the past five years totals €1.275 billion, of which €423 million was spent on direct provision.

Look if you want to find work get out on the streets look for oppertunities create a job !!! i do it all the time there is no such thing as resession if you work hard anywhere and live within your means , stop buying crap you dont need in the long run you will be so much happier !!!

i feel deeply for unemployed people.. for me i am unemployed for 5 (five) years.. last did a C.E.. scheme.. im in my 50s with a physical disability (permanent).. i can work 20 hours p.w. and i want to work.. hundreds of c.v.s have been ignored... i am trapped at home every day... so if you are young, fit, healthy...you will find work eventually... for me?? the scrap heap... so don't feel to despondent... you will get work.. god bless..

o well... i am irish and remember the 80,s the other side then no one had money or up to the necks with the banks un like now meet a guy in the summer out of work 4 bed house new bmw325i and a house in the south of spain and no fucking work
his wife working part time and she was going to give that up ...dole

IRISH QUEING FOR 7YRS LOSE OUT TO IMMIGRANTS
From Nov 09 to March 2010, out of 19 council houses, allocated by Tralee council 11 went to immigrants. Many Irish people are on the housing waiting list, some waiting for 7yrs, and the houses are going to foreigners.

This at a time when Irish children in care are being moved around in different care homes and B&B's. Some of these kids have been abused and committed suicide - they would greatly benefit from a secure council house.

Christmas is over. be prepared for MELTDOWN... Bring down this Evil Government.. last two years ago my home was worth 385k. now its worth 248k if im lucky... people responsible should be taken and thrown to the lions... i voted no to Lisbon because being part of the EU is a joke... they fiddle now while my country and its people burn..
