i have windows movie maker (and only windows movie maker), but i dont know how to add clips. how do you add clips???

You can either:

Go to File >> Import Into Collections

and from there, choose a video you would like to import into Windows Movie Maker,

or press the following keys: Ctrl + I

and that will get you to the same place.

Also, if this is one of your first times using WMM, make sure to save often, as in every few changes you make. WMM is a glitchy program and can sometimes shut down on you before you have the chance to save.
