  • Keep going.There's so much that we don't understand how to appreiate. My father was in the army-air corp in WW 2 and he was called home due to family. Im 51 now, and still don't understand the wars.

  • It seems Scott did the job he was sent there for, nothing heroic. The Corpsmen, Nurses and Doctors that saved his life are the real Hero's.

    But for those complaining about Bush, America and Texas -- quit being sheep and wake up! STOP BEING GOOD DEMOCRATS, STOP BEING GOOD REPUBLICANS, START BEING GOOD AMERICANS!

    The Dems and Repubs are two sides of the same coin. Do they perform the will of the people? Almost never.

    Elect only those that will defend the Constitution.

    When you lose a son or a daughter or a brother or a sister in war or even have a loved one have to serve and lose a part of themselves and you have some nasty little non-entity like yourself say they aren't a hero...THEN you have the right to say this. I understand hailing the medics and nurses, they ARE heroic, but NEVER insinuate that the people who defend your right to spew ignorance aren't heroic as well.

  • I think any young woman or man willing to lay their life on the line for their country is definately a hero. Its people like you that are unappreciative & who obviously have never served or had family to serve to enable you to understand the selflessness required of those in our military.   • Look and Listen! If you are going to post nasty comments about the bravery of our soldiers, at least learn how to speak fucking ENGLISH properly ok! Whether you agree with the war or not, all the soldiers of the world, US/European/Asian/oriental/Afr­ican whatever, are ALL brave men and women to do such work. Go and learn English and come back eh!

  • What's it to do with English? It is not my native language and it doesn't change the fact that your soldiers are "heroes" at the expense of Iraqi people. You create problems out of the blue, and then you try to solve them on your own means meanwhile trap the world and yourselves into a shitpit of misery, as was the case in Vietnam and as is the case in Iraq now. Sitting at your warm nice little villas and crying up fake hero slogans does not help people dying and living in depravity in Iraq.

  • They're over there fighting to bring security and stability to a fledgling democracy..of which the outcome will have a direct effect on the security of other nations including the US.  Democracies don't go to war with other democracies...never have, never will. The cause is noble.
