shh....maybe with your next one u should have music or something in the back ground. it looks like something right out of an archiologist notebook. looks awesome cant wait to see more!!
man these vids are inspiring to get you started to draw :P .. it's shame tho that haven't been added no new video since 2008 :/ I whould love to see more stuff from this channel :)
Very impressive. I am doing an art project and I chose skull option, so now I am stuck on proportions. I did a quick sketch from a picture, but I have a skull model too : tinypic.com/r/vsi5cp/7 Does the proportion sideways match standard proportions for human head?
Incredimazing cattusOK! I love your technique, especially how you establish the dimensions of the model on the paper. I've learned it from you and I am using it and it made my drawings much more proportional and correct. I wanna learn to move my hand as You do yours but at certain angles it's difficult ;( Thank You a lot, I've learned much from your videos!
@sailormoonworld nobody can draw that fast video is just speed up, but that does not matter the result is the same and that count if you work a half our about it or 2 days
Quick question, I am 16 years old, been drawing forever, and ever since I could hold a pencil I was drawing things out of my imagination, And every peice I draw nowadays has a cartoonish feel to it, any idead how I can get my work to look more realistic?
I don't know if you got any answer yet but you should practice(in case you haven't started already) drawing with an anatomy(face, body) book, or from real human/objects pictures.
Trust me, it works, atleast it did for me. Also, try to pick the details on your drawings that give the cartoonish feeling and that you should modify to get a realistic render.
Pretty professional stuff, nothing like the stuff I'm used to drawing, although both methods can make a considerable amount of money, this is more suited to general occupations that require an artist.
Anime is't so much attented to the needs of buisness.
Anyway, this is a speed drawing finished in seven minutes. Seeing how fast its going (now sure how many times sped up) but I'm going to guess it really took you 40 minuts to do it?
its pretty cool. i just look at cool album covers like skeletonwitch and i draw there skulls. i learned how to draw the album cover on skeletonwhitch its sick. i drew one on my math book cover with pencil all in school. lol
I draw people and copy pictures of friends but without drawing lines first, I just go ahead and draw the whole thing. Sometimes I get it wrong and need to erase like half on the picture... You have any tips how to prevent that?.
i noticed that you do alot of your shading before you do your finishing details. im pretty good at drawing but i am self taught. is there a certain reason you do the majority of your shading early? i work mostly in charcoals.
i was wondering as a 13 year old thats is really in to drawing and stuff i am wondering if there is any way that i can take my drawing to the next level like i can draw fairly desent cars and sometimes grafitti art and i need some tips about drawing like abstracte art and things along those lines if there is anything you can tell me please do i would greatly appreciate it thank you very much
@eminempaparoach It's hard to answer such a generic question, I would suggest 3 things:
1. find people that are better then you, teachers or friends doesn't matter, someone you can learn from. Find many of them since with time you will discover that some of them are not as great as you thought first.
2. find friends of similar age that are as excited about drawing as you are and are at the same level as you more or less.
@eminempaparoach What also helps is to extend your boundaries; don't stick to the cars and graffiti! Go to the park and start drawing trees and birds, people passing by, just whatever you want. At first it probably will be hard to draw all those things, but practice a lot as cattusOK already said. And for abstract art; you first need to know how the reality looks like, so you can take the things of reality which adhere to you in your work, and leave the rest out, which make it abstract
@eminempaparoach Practice makes perfect but only if you know what to practice on, If you want to learn how to draw a human body for example, then train on that everyday twice as much as u train know. You probably know that sometimes when you start drawing, it looks really good then the more you work on it it just looks worse and worse, that's because you dont analyze it, your brain should tell you when it went wrong and then you can think about it in the future :-)
@eminempaparoach just turning 14 i would say there is 1 good tip to taking your drawing to the next level, and thats KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING, dont just freehand without having a picture, at first, but draw it over and over, you will get better, and then u can freehand without a picture and amaze your friends
First Get Out of the Box; Even if you draw well on one subject, you must try different areas of Art. You would be amagaze to observe around you (Not see). When experimenting, feel free on making mistakes; sometimes mistakes lead you discover new skills. Work with any erros along the process and Never Let an artwork to beat you. I would be glad to see some of your artwork on youtube, and get some sleep if you haven't.
@eminempaparoach Hey Man. im 15. I Remember How I Felt When I Was your Age Like 2 Years Ago Lol. When I Was a Bit Younger I Was Seen As Probably A Gifted Artist At My Age But I Wanted to Get Better. I Just Tried To CombineMany Different Techniques INto My art As I Drew. Now I Am Where I Am. Lol Hope To Put Vids Up Soon To SHow.
hey:) I've got a question... I have no money for drawing lessons:/ Can I learn how to draw by copy other ilusration? watching on the picture and try to transfer it on the paper? Sory for my English:P
@martawit6 the best way to learn is with a good teacher, but you can also learn from books, by copying others, by finding others that are also interested in drawing and sharing knowledge. in the end you become good only by a lot of practice, the teacher is there to guide you and prevent you from doing mistakes. Good luck!
