  • Beautiful

  • I wish you would go slower :D

  • It´s amazing, but totally unhelpful if you want to learn HOW to draw :(

  • The teeth are amazing! xwx

  • First itss not really a "how to" video u shuda named it "me drawing a skull really fast" also wud it kill ya 2 put in some music?!

  • Amazing...

  • Question: When you draw texture why are your lines how do you determine what direction your lines go?

  • question: do the majority of artists sketch this way?

  • shh....maybe with your next one u should have music or something in the back ground. it looks like something right out of an archiologist notebook. looks awesome cant wait to see more!!

  • WOW

  • AMAZIIIING

  • man these vids are inspiring to get you started to draw :P .. it's shame tho that haven't been added no new video since 2008 :/ I whould love to see more stuff from this channel :)

  • awesome :D

  • the teeth are so hard for me, yours look awesome. good job

  • how long to draw this thing?

  • Very impressive. I am doing an art project and I chose skull option, so now I am stuck on proportions. I did a quick sketch from a picture, but I have a skull model too : tinypic.com/r/vsi5cp/7 Does the proportion sideways match standard proportions for human head?

  • Incredimazing cattusOK! I love your technique, especially how you establish the dimensions of the model on the paper. I've learned it from you and I am using it and it made my drawings much more proportional and correct. I wanna learn to move my hand as You do yours but at certain angles it's difficult ;( Thank You a lot, I've learned much from your videos!

  • awesome drawing, add some music and keep the good art coming!!!!

  • dang, person got some skillz!!!

  • nice, now im off to draw this on my geometry homework while i procrastinate

  • man u have to teach me to draw like dat!!!

  • you must put an eoic music to it....PERFECT.....no it is more like it!!!

  • How long did it take you to complete this piece?

And how many different sketching pencils did you use?

    It's a very good drawing!

  • @evesrequiem About 30 minutes, just one colored pencil (the black thing is am eraser). Thanks!

  • @cattusOK

    Colored pencil?

That look more like a graphite pencil to me :|

  • @ENDY238 If it was a graphite pencil he would've probably add a different shade

  • it's AMAZING!!!

    woooooooooooow!

  • OMG this is awsome pure art !!!!

  • omg look at how he is holding that pencil ... this is pure art and a lot of work good job!

  • man could slow this shit down, it's hard to learn off of, great drawing thow

  • When someone can do something awesome that I can't do, I call it talent!

  • im sure he doesnt write like that, its the traditional way of drawing, its got something to do with measurments with you thumb and pencil

  • you hold your pencil funny. theres no way i could take notes in class holding my pencil that way.

  • your drawings are wonderful!

  • I wish I could draw this fast lol

  • @sailormoonworld nobody can draw that fast video is just speed up, but that does not matter the result is the same and that count if you work a half our about it or 2 days

  • ha... u hold the pencil reaallly weird... but ur good :D

  • that is amazing!!!! undescribable......you should draw justin bieber!!....PLZ!!!!! :)

  • awesome man.and wow..........

  • wow...it's very artistic ! :D

  • what kind of pencils are those? it looks like they're brown

  • @radulica it's a black colored pencil, looks brown because the video was too dark and was made brighter.

  • my friends say i am sick at drawing

  • ho-ly sh*t !

    yur wicked !

  • u hold a the pencil weird

  • My cat likes your video and so do I

  • This is cool that I found this video, its a step up from just the front of the skull. Thanks for changing it up a bit!

  • Thx man ;) cool skull.

  • Quick question, I am 16 years old, been drawing forever, and ever since I could hold a pencil I was drawing things out of my imagination, And every peice I draw nowadays has a cartoonish feel to it, any idead how I can get my work to look more realistic?

  • @TheRetartidMunkee

I don't know if you got any answer yet but you should practice(in case you haven't started already) drawing with an anatomy(face, body) book, or from real human/objects pictures.

Trust me, it works, atleast it did for me. Also, try to pick the details on your drawings that give the cartoonish feeling and that you should modify to get a realistic render.

    Hope it helps

  • Pretty professional stuff, nothing like the stuff I'm used to drawing, although both methods can make a considerable amount of money, this is more suited to general occupations that require an artist.

Anime is't so much attented to the needs of buisness.

Anyway, this is a speed drawing finished in seven minutes. Seeing how fast its going (now sure how many times sped up) but I'm going to guess it really took you 40 minuts to do it?

  • oh my god you rock dude!!!!!!!!!!LOL wahua! is the mozt cool picturie i ever seen

  • Originally I was watching this to draw a skull, but I got so lost in the amazing drawing that I forgot to

  • just AMAZING

  • @cattusOK I assume you draw from memory, or do you look at a model skull?

  • @link0zeldarulz89 this one was done from a photo, it's always better to draw from a model if possible then from a photo.

  • @cattusOK that drawing is how i want to be, but still have my way to go.

  • im 13 years old and only recently got in to drawing should i take art as a gcse ? i enjoy it and im pretty good imo

  • its pretty cool. i just look at cool album covers like skeletonwitch and i draw there skulls. i learned how to draw the album cover on skeletonwhitch its sick. i drew one on my math book cover with pencil all in school. lol

  • first looks like a monkey but before its a skull

  • wow

  • This is just like an opera, you dont know when its going to finish, just when you think they're done they add more :) Looks awesome man keep it ip

  • Really cool, a bit better than me (:

I draw people and copy pictures of friends but without drawing lines first, I just go ahead and draw the whole thing. Sometimes I get it wrong and need to erase like half on the picture... You have any tips how to prevent that?.

    Ty :)

  • COOL! looks like 3D lol,can you draw some bad-ass dragon? O.o or the cool daemon from lord of the rings..Balrog was it's name i think..

  • awesome.......

  • i noticed that you do alot of your shading before you do your finishing details. im pretty good at drawing but i am self taught. is there a certain reason you do the majority of your shading early? i work mostly in charcoals.

  • @DiddledOnce I believe that it is largely based on the artist. I prefer doing them afterwards so it is easier for me.

  • i draw this in my art class in 3 classes and took me 2 months to paint it

  • i was wondering as a 13 year old thats is really in to drawing and stuff i am wondering if there is any way that i can take my drawing to the next level like i can draw fairly desent cars and sometimes grafitti art and i need some tips about drawing like abstracte art and things along those lines if there is anything you can tell me please do i would greatly appreciate it thank you very much

  • @eminempaparoach It's hard to answer such a generic question, I would suggest 3 things:

    1. find people that are better then you, teachers or friends doesn't matter, someone you can learn from. Find many of them since with time you will discover that some of them are not as great as you thought first.

    2. find friends of similar age that are as excited about drawing as you are and are at the same level as you more or less.

    3. practice a lot.

  • @cattusOK thank you alot for your help

  • @eminempaparoach What also helps is to extend your boundaries; don't stick to the cars and graffiti! Go to the park and start drawing trees and birds, people passing by, just whatever you want. At first it probably will be hard to draw all those things, but practice a lot as cattusOK already said. And for abstract art; you first need to know how the reality looks like, so you can take the things of reality which adhere to you in your work, and leave the rest out, which make it abstract

  • @eminempaparoach Practice makes perfect but only if you know what to practice on, If you want to learn how to draw a human body for example, then train on that everyday twice as much as u train know. You probably know that sometimes when you start drawing, it looks really good then the more you work on it it just looks worse and worse, that's because you dont analyze it, your brain should tell you when it went wrong and then you can think about it in the future :-)

  • @eminempaparoach just turning 14 i would say there is 1 good tip to taking your drawing to the next level, and thats KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING, dont just freehand without having a picture, at first, but draw it over and over, you will get better, and then u can freehand without a picture and amaze your friends

  • First Get Out of the Box; Even if you draw well on one subject, you must try different areas of Art. You would be amagaze to observe around you (Not see). When experimenting, feel free on making mistakes; sometimes mistakes lead you discover new skills. Work with any erros along the process and Never Let an artwork to beat you. I would be glad to see some of your artwork on youtube, and get some sleep if you haven't.

  • @eminempaparoach Hey Man. im 15. I Remember How I Felt When I Was your Age Like 2 Years Ago Lol. When I Was a Bit Younger I Was Seen As Probably A Gifted Artist At My Age But I Wanted to Get Better. I Just Looked At Many Things That I Could ossibly Draw. Like real Life Shading. Or cartoon Shading. Or Any Kinda Forms Of Viewing THings. Then I Applied Them TO My Art. I Just Tried To CombineMany Different Techniques INto My art As I Drew. Now I Am Where I Am. Lol Hope To Put Vids Up Soon To SHow.

  • hey:) I've got a question... I have no money for drawing lessons:/ Can I learn how to draw by copy other ilusration? watching on the picture and try to transfer it on the paper? Sory for my English:P

  • @martawit6 the best way to learn is with a good teacher, but you can also learn from books, by copying others, by finding others that are also interested in drawing and sharing knowledge. in the end you become good only by a lot of practice, the teacher is there to guide you and prevent you from doing mistakes. Good luck!

  • @cattusOK thanks a lot:) I'm from Poland and it's really hard to find good teacher here... good artist wants too much money per hour:/ I'll try to do it by myself, from books as you've wriiten... practise, hard work and ambition:)

  • Great sketch, is this from memory sir?

  • @FiendofDA no, from an image.

  • @cattusOK its amazing

  • dang...i can nevr sketch like that...i draw japanese animation in my free time and i just imagine and think about wat i wanna draw and i just draw it...i usually nevr plan out with sketches..cuz its hard

  • holy shit man it went just line every where to a skull i mean thats the shit man thats cool your really good

  • At the beginning of the video I was like: "Holy Sh*t, this guy uses three pencils?" I then realized that you were speed drawing. Lol. It pays off to read the title.

  • I draw this with oleo by 2 hours a week and it took me 3 months

  • AMAZING I'm watching this with some draft punk !

  • the "secret" is to practice with a....eh...for example with a skull like this in front of you...ofc not real skull

  • im barely know how to draw house with chimney. excellent work, man

  • This is crazy. to draw an anatomically correct skull like that without a reference? I mean... I can draw a fine looking 'comics' skull, but to reach a point you can remember every bump and every socket's location... and without even doing a rough sketch / erasing. That's magical man... great job. you probably practice every day.

  • i would say i could draw better....but then i would be lying haha good job man

  • omfg, thats the best song ever!!

  • I like your work. As a 15 year old in high school, who has a great passion for art, what can i do to draw as good as you do and what did you do to get better? How do you draw with a colored pencil or Charcoal?

  • You can get a good teacher, learn and practice a lot, don't think about results too much (not being goal oriented), you must like what you do. This video is with colored pencil, others are with charcoal pencil. Good luck!

  • @cattusOK how do i go about learing to start to draw?

  • @SuperArch25 Come on people there is no secret, just practice a lot. Draw everything you see.

  • @SuperArch25 i bet he didn't learn to draw like that by watching youtube videos

  • @SuperArch25 hey I am 15 years old to and I asked another guy the same question and he answered that the key to an realistic drawing is 3 things: 1. the final drawing should not have any lines at all(only shades) 2. learn to do good shades 3. see the details that no one else see. hope it helps you

  • ever hear about bacroundmusic ?

  • bllody hell man see if you aint got a job you got one cos i would pay money for that

except i dont really suppose theres a huge market for really realist human skulls

  • nice my one took me 3 hours

  • the way you hold the pencil is intresting

  • its great, hey where do people learn to do things like these? practice? theres gatta be some sort of secret...

  • there is no secret, only a lot of work.

  • @cattusOK Hey whenever you draw do you imagine it first and than draw it? Because I just draw it and it makes a face.

  • i cant draw like that. if i could it would probably be easier. really good

  • stop making it fast i dont care how much time you spend what is the point watching a video if you are gonna do it so fast omg

  • now that is a direct portrait of me! XD

  • yes, that's the whole point in drawing skulls, to understand the proportions and the structure of the human head..

  • Its a soft colored pencil, don't remember the exact number..

  • proportioned nicely.
