The original version of this song was recorded by Mercyful Fate in the 80's. As for screeching vocal style, Why don't you check out Judas Priest. Rob Halford has been doing it for ages, as have many others. Don't get me wrong, I love 3" of blood but they surely weren't the firs to go this way. The vocalist sounds like a mixture of King Diamond and Rob Halford to me...
