@Outdoorsman1515 Yes, that is ice. It was pretty cold that day, and after 10-14 hours out in it, you start to frost up a bit.

What kind of clothing do you wear for that temperatures?

@MyHuntingFavourites When it is -30 or colder, I wear four layers under my Carhartts. Boots are Cabelas Trans Alaskan, and I wear thin finger gloves inside my beaver mittens.

where are you trapping out of? im an aspiring trapper..havent done any yet but ive done a ton a research for the past 2 yrs since ive moved down here to anchorage from wayy up north..ive been hoping to find someone i can tag along with to really learn from so i can be alot more confident and start out on my own.

That was a nice wolf! I was wondering why so many different color variations in wolves? I just trap beaver down here, and I am very secretive about my sets. I have Fur Fish and Game magazines for every year back to 1956 , and noticed Andrew did one very similar from an article back in the 70's. If anyone wants those magazines there is about 200 pounds of them.
